On the flip side, the exercise I love the most is one I do the most - Dips, I just love dips and will never go back to benching because (1) Dips are cooler ^^ (2) You dont need a spotter for dips (3) Their are loads of guys with big benches, but who can say they can put up massive weight on weighted dips. Not too many that I know of ![]()
i hate working shoulders too, to me its like ok, why? theyre such a small muscle group but w/e.
Leg curls.
Curls. I know thereās nothing I can do to make my arms bigger, so Iām not very motivated to do this exercise.
Im with everybody that said overhead barbell squats suck, but the odd thing about it is that if its hard for you, or you feel way off balance, you need to be doing other exercises, things for your posterior-chain, like DLs and goodmorings, then go back to that damn overhead BB squat and see how well you improved
I donāt really hate any exercises per say. I really hate exercises that cause other people to stare at me while Iām training, fucking bothersome!
Iām pretty much the only one that deadlifts in my gym. Anyone else get weird looks from doing db stepups and lunges? Hell, some people look at me weird for doing pushups in the gym like āWhy donāt you use the nautilus chest press machine?!?ā. Maybe its just because I live in Italy right now and they donāt know anything, hopefully things will change when I head to college.
I really need to invest in a home gym.

Cardio, its too boring
I hate curls I feel like waste of time doing it also there not that hard so its kind of boring to me sitting there curling just for a āpumpā.
Hate lunges I feel like throwing up after them and my knees are bruised up from smashing into the hardwood floor. Great way to finish a leg day though.
Your kneeās shouldnāt be touching the floor, and I am with you on the curls.[/quote]
yeah usually they donāt Iām heavy and when you desperately want to make it to the end your legs will come crushing down near the end of it.

People generally hate working on whatever is weakest.
Interesting on the flat barbell bench for most peopleā¦
I hate doing isolation work for triceps. Weighted dips are ok, but as far as skullcrushers and pushdowns go, Iād rather be doing deadlifts or something.
EDIT: Since I know I hate doing them, I arrange to complete them first thing on arm day, max effort.
OH SHIT!
Iād have to say I hate Flat Barbell Benching more than any other exercise. More than Curls.
Iām Mcluvin it my entire leg day until it comes to leg extensions.
I shouldnāt even be posting here. I hate that I love curls. In the power rack. And after Iām done I drop the weights and leave them there. I grunt, I cuss, I make stupid faces. I donāt care. Because itās a home gym.
One-arm BB presses are the ones I hate the most. It is also one of the most rewarding.
I hate squats. There I said it. I still do em though.
Split squats, lunges and step ups are tough. During the workout I hate them but at the end I am glad that I did them.

Which is highly ironic as the quickest way to improvement is to address your weak links.
Lunges suck pretty bad. I was doing a program that included BB walking lunges for sets of 15 each leg. That was nausea city. Really, most single-leg stuff is pretty brutal, but I try to include it at least once per week.
dumbbell fliesā¦actually flies of any kind, though cable flies are a little more tolerable

Not if you think about it biologically. Our body would probably prefer to use the strong muscles where it can instead of expending energy on building up the weak ones.
I absolutely LOATHE doing leg presses. I whine before I climb into the sled.
Glute leg pushdowns
one legged Calf raises
lower back hyperextensions
