Nez1Nez: The Next Superheroine

delt flies and lat raises will get easier as your body figures them out. When I first started with them I struggled with 5#ers lol, but within a few sessions I was rolling along.
Your doing great Neznez :)
my lateral raises are using 10#-its a struggle. the incline db rows are a mess…i’m using 17.5# but i feel myself slowing come up to an upright position. i may go down to 15# and see how it goes or try them on an incline bench to leave me know choice.
thanks coyotegal
jake- todays workout was much better!

FWIW, I use 5 or 10lb DBs on bent-over rear delt flyes depending on the rep range.

Nez, I thought you might enjoy following Chelsey’s log if you haven’t seen it. She’s only been lifting since this past winter so she’s little, but she decided to take off running with it and do the whole contest prep. Her enthusiasm is contagious. I believe she’s had Shelby Starnes helping her with nutrition. You may have a lot in common with her as you develop over the next year.

Oh, one other thing! When you are preparing dessert or other food for your family, put a piece of gum in your mouth.

Thank you!! That’s an awesome idea. I’ve also starting making fat free instant vanilla coffee to sip on- it helps a ton. Plus, my family is super supportive- my husband especially!

lol! I’ve had days where I go through 1-2 packs of Extra Dessert Delights gum.

Hey Jskrabac, got a question for ya. Your transformation was fucking awesome. I remember your first ‘can I be a model’ thread, and I thought it was laughable. It was clearly no joke.

It looks like your interest is in training someone who’s willing to be a bit more dedicated (no offense to Nez, I feel bad about your situation). My pictures are plentiful, so I obviously have a level of dedication. But I’d like some additional guidance. Particularly with diet. If you’re interested, let me know, and I can give you all the details you need. My financial/time resources are close to unlimited, so I could be a fun project

FWIW, absolutely no hate if you turn me down, I think what you’re doing 'round here is great either way.
To be honest, you seem to be doing very well. I’d be thrilled to be walking around looking like you in my off-season. What specifically did you have in mind? Just a diet plan that gets modified weekly? A training split?
Well I just started Meadow’s reactive pump training thingy. Was following a kingbeef program before that. I’m relatively comfortable with my training, pretty new to bodybuilding style training though. I’d be open to advice on that front.

I’ve never dieted down/ cut fat. Ever. My avatar pictures are essentially the same leanness I’ve been my whole life. I like where you’ve taken your own body, and I’d basically be interested in going a similar direction. But I’m not sure I’ve built enough size for that to be worthwhile yet. So I guess that’s where I would start. I can post some pictures, and see if you (and I guess anyone else interested) could tell me how a cut would likely turn out. And if I get positive feedback, some guidance in starting a stricter diet would be helpful. I believe, for instance, that my protein intake is well below what most around here prescribe.

So I’d be interested to know your take on that sort of thing. After that, who knows? Open to suggestions. I don’t want to fill Nez’s thread with this, so I can start a new thread if you’re interested.
Flip, I’m actually gonna stick to just two for now, because mum and pop just asked me to do the same for them. Hopefully I don’t need to explain why they will become my priority clients =)

In the meantime, feel free to post up your own thread, and I’ll be happy to chime in and give my feed back on starting macros.

One full week of no beer or cake. Feeling good. Feeling light!

Finding it difficult to consume as much food as instructed. Especially the veggies.

The workouts are still challenging. Not really sure how often I should be raising my weight so im switching it up my own way: instead of raising weights on lunges I went down(17.5# dbs) and raised the weight on RDL(30# dbs). I did this because I can hardly finish the backward lunges and i love feeling the RDLs the next day.

Weight and photos tomorrow.

Stocking up.

Body weight: 109.6
Last week: 110.6

Energy: ok.
Mood: good
Strength level: ok, read above.

Just noticed my green tea extract is decaf- does it make a difference? Didn’t feel very well Thursday night or Friday due to the new tattoo. Not much of an appetite. Didn’t really stick to the gallon of water rule after that day either. I did not miss a workout. I only had one drink. May go out for some sushi tonight because I’m a mama and its my day. Any suggestions on what to eat while there? Should I skip the rice and just eat sashimi?

Back.

Side by side

Keep up the good work! Happy Mother’s Day!

Girl, you are killing it!! Keep it up. I see no reason to change anything at this point.

Decaf makes a difference. Once you run out of your current batch, make sure the next has caf. For now, stick with a few cups of coffee/day like you’ve been doing.

As for tonight, it’s mother’s day. My recommendation is skip the last 2 meals today (so one of the chicken and veggie meals and the cottage cheese) and just enjoy a normal meal! Forget you’re on a diet, but don’t binge either. I think the carb up could be beneficial for you at this point.

Nice work in here! And happy mother’s day.

…my eyes are bigger then my stomach.

Also went out and got new green tea.

Let us know what you eat!

It’s all good information to have on my end, seeing how you respond and all with a carb up.

3- pork gyoza
1/2 of a small ginger house salad
Edamame
3 pieces salmon maki
2 pieces shrimp tempura roll
4 salmon nigiri
2 yellowtail nigiri
4 pieces of eel roll
Water

That’s all I could fit in. Hahhaahh!
And that may be an overestimate.

When things settled my family went on a two mile walk.

Nez looking good dear, and good coaching jake.
