Nez1Nez: The Next Superheroine

I also wanted to share how far I’ve have already come. This is a before ( may 2012) & after photo (feb 2013).
That’s awesome!

I cringe seeing me flattened down.

I honestly believe it couldn’t have been done in spin classes or on a treadmill. I did no cardio and lifted using big compound movements. It has been life changing and I want to keep going and be in the best possible shape of my life. I want to be in contest form just to say I did it.

Last night was the first Saturday night that I didn’t enjoy a cocktail. I’ve avoided the responses on the thread for fear that I would be set on fire like coyotegal said. But thanks all for rooting me on! The cake has been chucked and so has the beer. I want this.

The diet is pretty extreme but it needs to be to see the results in such a short amount of time. The workouts are pretty soliid- they push me and I’m sore for days after. I will agree to not stray for how ever long need be.

That being said I weighed in at 110.6 pounds- I could almost cry!

This mornings photos:
This is a great start! Let’s keep everything as is for one more week, and yes, that includes A BEER one night during the week =) Your choice which night.

How is your energy? How is your mood?

I feel great. Honestly, it’s more calories then I’m use to consuming but I think that’s the missing link… More calories! The gallon of water suuuuucks. I already pee a lot and now I just stay in there. I may up the supplements this week and see how it goes.

Thanks Jake.

I’m glad we’re on the same page now.

You’re consuming more calories, but you’re also expending more and getting optimal use out of them now from the way they are timed during the day.

I know the water sucks, but you gotta stick with it. You can tell from just your first week’s before/after photos that you are holding onto ALOT less water in abdomen and lower back, so you are responding well to it.

I don’t want to promise this will get “easier” per se, but it will become a part of your routine and you’ll kind of go into auto-pilot mode sooner than you think. First few weeks are always gonna be rough adjusting to a lifestyle change.

One more thing, just to make this a little bit easier on me. When you post up your sunday morning bodyweight can you also post up previous week’s as well?

So sunday morning a post like

pic: front
pic: back

bodyweight: 1??
last week: 1??

energy levels:
mood:
strength levels in gym:

Any additional information you think is relevant for the week.

Keep it up Nez, set an example to be proud of.

I’m loving these threads.
The fact that everyone is doing all this for free, makes it so much more… Hard-hitting.

The trainee pays no money, so they have no room to make demands, or excuses.
The trainer receives no money, so he works to improve his trainee as fast and well as possible, without ever having to accept excuses.
It’s a cool dynamic.

I fucking hate that, “I pay you, so you work for me,” attitude of some trainees.
These threads totally sidestep that problem though, it’s more like, “I don’t pay you, in fact, you’re investing your time in me, so I work for YOU!”

So ya, keep it up guys.
You fucking rock.

Strength levels? Do you want whether I felt strong or I I barely made it out alive? Or I went from 50lb to 55lb?
I think my weight was 112.7 last week and then this week it was 110.6. Remember being a chick means I’m bloated sometimes. an thanks for the one drink deal- although I’m done with classes (trying to be a nurse), I still manage/wait tables in a very high paced, HOT, and stressful restaurant. Yay!
Can I swap the apple for a banana sometimes or is that a no-no?

Thanks VooDoo!

Good to see that despite all the flaming, you decided to stick with Jake’s plan and not run away, Nez.

That’s the right attitude. Never give up. Never surrender.

All the best.

Yes, just if you felt strong. About bloat, that’s for the “additional” info part of the update =)

You can do whatever fruit you like, as long as it comes out to around 20g carb (net carbs, after subtracting fiber).

Lol I remember Thib’s had guys push a prowler 40 yards for every ounce of liquor they drank in Indigo-3G logs back a year or so ago.

Here goes nothing…

Good job nez way to stick to it. Your looking good.

I nearly passed out today.

Can you elaborate?

i ran out of energy. i tried to up my weight which was all fine and dandy until the end the last superset. Bent over rear delt flyes are tricky for me as is lateral raises. By the third set i was doooone.

Holy fuck, that would put me at 3 and a half hours of cardio from last Friday night.

Ok. Keep me updated on how your next workout goes.

delt flies and lat raises will get easier as your body figures them out. When I first started with them I struggled with 5#ers lol, but within a few sessions I was rolling along.
Your doing great Neznez
