I know how that goes. Night time is when I used to binge on green veggies and sugar-free jello.

She’s doing that too.
This isn’t a timing thing, this is a low carb thing. She’s very low carb right now, so timing doesn’t matter. I’m putting the most satiating meals (p & f) on the ends of the day for her sanity and what little carbs she has will be used during the day around training.

I read something from Meadows and he recommends the no carb breakfast as well.
"Well I just find for many it is an easier path to being or getting lean. When you wake up your fat cells are sensitive just like your muscle cells, so for many jamming a ton of carbs in this meal can impede fat burning. Now many people I coach do have carb laden breakfasts, but these are either really big dudes that need the calories, or people that feel better in the am with carbs. I am not 100 ant-carb breakfast…but I can tell you that it can def help with getting leaner…plus this gives you more carbs to use around training, when you really need them… "
From his forum.
I’ve already lost my sanity.
Today was a great day- my husband went to the gym with me an really pushed me.
Deads: 7 sets at 140#, 1 set 160#, 2 sets at 170#.
Squats: 1 set at 135#,2 sets at 115#.
Pretty excited/mad at him. ![]()
Maybe these last two weeks I should lower my calories? Getting nervous that I won’t have a six pack while at the beach…
We’ll decide after your sunday check in.
@jskrabac alright then
@nez1nez dont start doing anything radical like stop eating; that might mess up your hormones and slow your metabolism yadayada, without jskrabac’s advice. You’re looking good already, so dont stress the sixpack.
I’m feeling a little manic. I’m hungry all the time yet I stress the abs. I’m scared that I can’t physically achieve it.
You can, and you will. Just trust me.
Keep the faith Nez, I am doing a similar thing myself, fight the fight.
Must…have…them…
also, i’m having some soreness on my heels. It doesn’t usually get my attention till late at night. Because of the new cardio I’ve been wearing my Mizunos instead of my shelltoes. Last lower-body workout I went barefoot. Can’t figure it if its overuse since I’m on my feet at work or if its squishy shoes while training.
You definitely wanna do lower body lifting with flattest shoe possible. I typically wear something like chucks on leg days.
Also, I’m all about getting you those hawt abz for your big beach outing, but stressing the abs will cause you to go a bit manic. We can definitely pull some last minute “tricks” to pull out the definition and whatnot, but, in general, that’s not a level of leanness you’re going to be comfortable maintaining year round. Only for short periods of time.
I’m still pretty lean a few months post show and I guarantee you I don’t have a 6 pack visible 24/7 despite being in what I’d consider the best shape of my life.
Lemme see.
Impressive stuff

Good Morning.
