Athletic Body in Balance?

Has anyone read this book by Gray Cook? I’m looking for some reviews.

Thanks

I have read it and generally enjoyed it. He focuses on how to see if you have weaknesses that may limit your performance and perhaps lead to an injury. I do not see him as a performance enhancement guy, like I would not ask him how to improve my bench but it can be helpful for diagnosising weak areas of your body that can develop after a long time of performing similar movements. And one could argue that by staying injury free you are improving your performance. So the bottomline is it depends on what you are looking for. It is great for learning how to do and administer some basic movement analysis tests (the NASM uses this stuff a lot), it is not great for program design for most people but I don’t think that is what it was intended for. Definitely a good read though and you will learn something new no matter what, I would give it 4 out of 5 stars.
