Thankkkk youuuu!!!
Too late. I’m “bulking”
Nez,
Find me on facebook. We can discuss continuing a plan on there, as I won’t be logging in here much anymore. Settling into the new big city and going corporate starting monday! =) I don’t wanna give up on ya though, because you have exactly the right mindset and train with intensity. You could really go far.
Things should be easier and we could go to check-ins every 2 weeks since you want to focus on building some muscle. I have an idea in mind for you and I wanna know what you think. The idea is basically moving cals up so slowly that after several months you’re eating a crap ton more but pretty much just as lean as you are now. We can also talk about ways of fitting things more into your lifestyle as a working mother so you can still have a social life and enjoy some cake and beer in moderation ![]()
Cheers,
Jake
Done!
When will you be taking on clients?

I want to see how things settle down with my new career and living in a big city. It could be a few to several months before I seriously look into it. I also may decide not to. We’ll see where my heart is down the road.
I know one thing for sure, working with Nez has certainly convinced me I’d rather work with non-competitors, especially women. In general, I find women won’t let a silly thing called ego get in the way and it’s so much easier to work with them. And working with non-competitors adds a layer to the challenge in fitting this all into a “normal” lifestyle. Getting peeled is simple (not easy) if you’re willing to dedicate your whole day to it. Now lets try and lean out working around a full-time job!

Seeing as I’m a male who is still in college (aka not IRL with a full-time job) AND a competitor very soon…
I AM HURT! NO MORE GIRLS IN THE SANDBOX EVER!

wow!
This is awesome. As a woman, I feel like I gave up on myself and didn’t know how to get myself back. Jake, you showed me the way! I did the best I could but my progress came to a screeching halt. I spent hours online trying to find the answers but it was so overwhelming.
You gave me a very easy recipe to follow and it made it simple! PORTION CONTROL! I ate really well but my portions were wayyyyyy to big. The typical American meal is a 10oz-12oz steak- it should be more like 3-3.5oz! Macros are still a mystery to me but I know you will explain them in layman’s terms. haha.
There is definitely no egos here-just tears…hahahah! I would cry for icecream! But, just as I was at the end of my rope, you would give me a free pass. Thank God!
Seeing the progress every week made me wanna push through. And as time went by I knew I wasn’t going to be shredded like I pictured in my mind…it was unrealistic in the amount of time I had. BUT, I’m ok with it! These things take years of dedication and I’m in it Fo’ lyfe.
Thanks, Jake!
