BTN presses have given me some amazing strength gains lately. Now its about as strong as my standing OHP was before I started BTN pressing (about 1-1.5 mo ago), after starting with a working weight of 95lbs lol. I think I finally found the solution to the crappiness of my press :D
I’m pretty sure my BTN presses were actually better than my front presses for awhile.
It was a bad week for many reasons. I only squatted 3 days last week. Should be every day this week though.

Broke the 200lb barrier for the first time. Granted, it was after eating a hyooge meal, but weighing 200lbs is weighing 200lbs. Not bad for a guy who’s naturally 140-150lbs.
Bench: 110kg for a few easy sets of 4.
Incline bench: 195lbs x 7
Decline benched for the first time (default PR): 225lb x 6, I think this is actually worse than my flat bench LOL.
Incline DB press: 70lbs x11, not an all time PR by far, but definitely a number I was surprised to hit after already doing 3 pressing movements.

Hit 180x1 on my bench variation. 5lb PR. Attempted 185 and missed. Maybe in a week or two.

Variation is… moderate incline pin press, dead stop, from the bottom, upper arms no lower than parallel.
Got 185 x 1 today. Finally hit that milestone. Now onto 225.

Good job. 225 is a pretty good feeling.
Did some high bar squats today: 5 x 5 x 295lbs (beltless), then a set of 315lbs x 4 for fun (belted)
Did some overhead pressing today. Was not fresh and also absolutely horribly out of the groove but I still managed a PR: 8 x 60kg. Sure I could hit at least 10 under better conditions. Lesson learned: BTN pressing has REALLY good carryover to the OHP for me.
Arnold press: 10 x 55lbs - a 3 rep PR
Alt DB curls: 7 x 55lbs
Hit two PRs yesterday:
Deadlift: 1x1 170.5kg
Bench: 1x1 105kg
The deadlift PR was a new all time PR, while the bench was a PR after an injury a few months ago that caused me to lose about 12lbs and what felt like all of my pressing strength.
