Ab rollouts!
All direct ab work.
Boring.
i love single leg exercises because theyre so good for you in terms of balance, stability, muscle balance and all that bs
i HATE them because one set takes FOREVER.
shit, try doing 3x8 reverse db lunge, it takes like 20 minutes!
Bench press
Running (tendinitis)
I HATE squats and incline dumbbell presses
And one arm dumbbell rows. Those put me in a terrible mood.

Live, what do you do for back work? Pull downs?

i hardly even do pulldowns
i like deadlifts, rackpulls, H.S. Rows, and cable rows, i do some other machine stuff too but you will never see me a do a chinup, most overrated exercise ever.

why dont you bike instead? i have shin splints/tendinitis too so i know how bad it sucks, and ironically enough when i was like 12 years old or so i used to do long distance running.
Overhead DB extensions - Hate them. I feel like they stress my lats/rear delts/joints more than my triceps.
Seated Calf - Get cramps
Lunges - seems like a common theme here
Burpees - not that many of us would ever use them. They’re still evil though.
I hate calf work in general (worst muscle sorness in the last few reps), but the worst is seated calf raises. My ankles usually click and it just feels awkward.
I just moved and the Uni gym that I joined doesn’t have a seated calf raise. I’ve been doing those ones were you get in a lunge position with the weight on your thigh. I like them much better, but I have to do them before squats.

Doing lunges and step-ups this week and last, I realised how much I hate that kind of one-legged work. I always seem to run out of breath and lose my balance before I fatigue my muscles thoroughly, and the leg I work second always gets less of a workout! Seriously, when picking exercises myself, there are NEVER any lunges.
So, what are some exercises you guys hate?
i love unilateral work. I love lundges and step up cause I do “big weight”.
barbell curls,tri extensions,calfs raises.
Pullovers. The motion seems very awkward to me.
Just thought of the Absolute Worst, Turkish Get Ups
I always feel like I’m doing it wrong, and it’s really hard to get into the start position with huge weights.
lunges, lunges, lunges
lunges

bulgarian split squats…! argh!
Thanks for reminding me of that one. I feel like I’m going to fall over every bloody time.
I also don’t like heavy front squats, which for me starts at 135…I feel like my forearms are going to snap.
i’m surprised everyone seems to hate calf work… calves are possibly my favorite body parts to work.
things i hate:
regular bench press
ab stuff
face pulls
I’m glad to see I’m not alone in my hatred for lunges.

Smart words.

I hate flat bench, I can press a shitload of weight, but I just dont feel like I can push my limits with it.
I always feel like Im half-assing, its hard to explain, with rows and squats, or deads, you can always FORCE the weight to come up.
With bench its like I cant FORCE it, and that makes me feel like a bitch.
Not enough confidence you have .
Force it you must not . Use the force.
Seriously
I hated doing flat bench when I was 16 years old and bar stoped on my chest, had to wait for a while for help. And once plates fell from ene side and the whole thing colapsed from one side to another. Hated flat bench pressing.
Now I usually like to lift dumbells instead barbell on flat bench, more freedom on joints and no locked-out-feeling-grip position like doing flat barbell bench.
And I hate lunges but absolutely love single leg work
I hate every form of benchpressing. Incline, decline, flat, closegrip… I hate it all. Reason being: I get confident during the movements and then somehow mess up the form and I get stuck because of it.
For example:
Earlier I was close-gripping a personal record… with surprising ease. At the top of the 4th rep I said to myself “Holy crap this is easy… I’m gonna get 10 easyyy”… as I started the descent somehow I pushed the weight forward too far and completely lost it and got stuck at the bottom. Completely sucked! How I miss my smith machine…
