Exercises You HATE

I mostly hate ab work too, but standing and kneeling ab work is pretty cool. I kinda like the ab wheel, but it makes my whole body tense up like crazy, I always feel like my nose is about to start bleeding when doing them.

Live, what do you do for back work? Pull downs?

Mad_Duck, I actually adore front squats. They are fucking hard, but totally worth it.

Clifford… That’s right, unilateral’s the word I was thinking of. I hate DB pressing too, but for me it’s a question of getting those weights in position to begin with more than anything else! Hate it… As for tris, close grip bench press?

bench presses

I have tons, lol.

Lateral Raises
Lunges
Bicep-pose-crossover-cable-curl-thing - seriously, what the hell is this called?

They are the only ones that come to mind right now.

there called high cable curls, as for hated exercises; walking lunges, decline bb bench, rope rolls( for forearms, feels like someones stabbing them), incline db flyes, ab rollers.[/quote]

i’d do walking lunges if i had enough space in the gym to do it.
as for exercices i hate: standing lounges (but i still do 'em), decline dumbell press, concentration curls, front barbell raises, stiff legg deadlift, cable row, front pulldown

funny because my favorite is also my worst: Deadlifts

I’m hating deadlifts right now. Every lift feels like someone is stabbing my right trap. Any ideas on this?

Front Squats, Ab work.

Calves.

I hate exercises that I can’t feel working, DB Pullovers are the worst offenders followed by side bends and rotations with a barbell, which also looks ridiculous.

The ones I hate because they’re hard and so I do most are:

  • Pullups
  • Deads
  • Floor Pull
  • All Leg exercises except front squats with the crossed arms, call me crazy but I just love that exercise, looks so damn cool!

I’d swear 66% of the people in the gym were doing standing lounges last night. ;')

I totally understand their worth, which is why they stay in my rotation, it’s just that when I do them, most of the body parts that should be flexible are stiff, and most of the parts that should be tight seem to be slack.

Bulgarian split squats and anything on a machine.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t ever use machines, but still, that doesn’t stop me from trying to hate them so hard that they melt.

Any kind of single-leg work. Seems like my cardiovascular system gives out before my legs do.

doing calves dc style,

ummm hack squat/leg press widow makers without locking knees.

Decline tri extensions to failure (fucking seem to be sore forever it seems after doing these)

Chinups/pullups cause of the extra muscle/fat I added a lot harder now (maybeeee i should do more cardio jaja)

and this it’s the most brual and most hated exercise in the world, i do these and I can’t get out of bed the next to pee

The things you hate are the things you lack confidence in.

I hate flat bench, I can press a shitload of weight, but I just dont feel like I can push my limits with it.

I always feel like Im half-assing, its hard to explain, with rows and squats, or deads, you can always FORCE the weight to come up.

With bench its like I cant FORCE it, and that makes me feel like a bitch.

Seated calf raises cause my upper calves to cramp up like a mofo. Heavy Bulgarian split squats will have my glutes sore for days.

Carrying heavy dumbbells through and across to the other side of the gym to do walking lunges, but the best part is carrying them back when I’m done.

floor deadlifts (that I no longer do, thankfully), back squats (that I no longer do lol), and any form of side raises (sadly I need plenty of volume here)

Front squats and step ups.

does cardio count. I freaking hate cardio

Anything where my arms are extended infront of my with my palms up. Makes my wrists want to explode, gloves with wrist support don’t help at all. So…

curls
and bench, only because my numbers are a joke.
