Oh yes, right again. I’m a giant powerlifter jealous of you’re no rhythm white guy dribbling skills. Guess again, I’m only 5’ 11" 185 and if I were to dribble in front of a camera I wouldn’t look like I was about to fall over or lose control of the ball, nor do I shoot from my waist.
I find it very hard to believe that your shot used to be any different considering that a layoff from play its self would have no effect on the neural specific skill of shooting a basketball. The AI argument is idiotic.
He drops 30 a game and if he is lucky would get one possibly two dunks a game. How did he get the other 26-28 points? 10 were probably free throws, 8 off jumpers and 8 off drives. Of course you can find a 3.5 minute compilation of dunks spanning from his high school days.
I said thick in your head… lol Did I say AI scored 30 points by dunking? lol Who does that? You’re a dumbass. I just say he jumped out of the gym. IDIOT.
Now post your vid, put up or shut up OK kid?

At first I was entertained by your pseudo/gay video…

Keep plugging away at those numbers, man. As if you’re 30! Good shit, though.
Haha what’s up Bro! Yeah I ain’t getting any younger… Good to see you here too.
Thank you for the comment, and also thanks T-Nick!
Here is a vid from today. Push presses 120kg X 2. Nothing huge and so so technique but it’s still a personal best. - YouTube [/quote]
Very nice, man. I already commented on that video on your Youtube space. Like I said there, very good wrist flexibility! When I do push presses, I personally have a closer girp than yours, allowing me to get more triceps-drive. It does, however, increase the range of motion for the lift. Ah well, you give a little, you get a little. Also, I think I dip a bit deeper with my legs, but I might be mistaken.
The first rep was so easy! Very impressive speed. See, I think push presses are best trained as singles. Can’t wait to see more videos, man.

I use the same grip as my jerks. You don’t want to go too deep in the dip because you lose a lot of energy if you do so. I’m still getting used to these but it’s improving fast. I will be at 315 in about a month or 2 hopefully.
If AI dunked in the NBA during a game 10 times in one season it was alot. Dunking is NOT a major part of the NBA game.
I tried many times to extend an olive branch to you only to hear some lame insult. If I wanted to be mean spirited or a hater, I’d point out to you that the vast majority of European guards on national teams couldn’t make a DI college team here. That the STAR guards of those teams often sat the bench when lucky enough to attend a D1 schoool. I’ll let everyone else here draw thier own conclusions about where you would have fit in in the grand scheme of things. Did you actually mention Sedale? LOLOLOLOLOL. Was that a proud moment for you? Did his washed up never really got off the ground career wash up in your country?

Actually let me elaborate a little bit. When I do my push presses, I keep my elbows much higher than yours up to about 185 pounds. Specifically, my elbows are migh higher than yours and my grip is much closer prior to initiating the lift.
Once I get to around 205 - 235 for a push press, my elbows are much more lower, even lower than in your videos. If anything, it almost looks like I’m just doing a push version of a close-grip military press. Since I’m unable to keep my elbows high with the heavy weight, since it murders my wrists, I’m also limiting the amount of the trap/shrug activation that you seem to be doing in your videos.
As I watch you push press video a couple of more times, I see that you’re successfully shrugging the weight right at the beginning of the lift. Again, your technique looks good! Good speed, as well.
Personally, I’d recommend you just do singles with weight that is challenging for you. But then again, I guess that’s just conditioning.

It does occur to me that our[American] national team has not done very well in international competition even though it is made up of NBA stars…
Bodyguard: Please take your bullshit somewhere else. You’re clearly baiting Fred into a flame-fest and derailing this thread. Nobody gives a shit what you think about dunking or basketball culture or your shit-talking assumptions about his abilities after watching a BS Youtube.com video of his.
Grow up and find somewhere else to start up whatever bullshit. Please and thank you.

I see what you mean, well I think it hurts your wrists cause maybe you’re not letting it rest completely on your delts? It does take a lot of flexibility in forarms especially. I could be wrong but it happens to a lot of guy I train with and I have them do behind the neck push press. Basically the same exercise but you just carry the bar like you would in a regular squat.
It’s also a great lift for power. As far as singles, yes when it’s heavy I agree, then it’s just too taxing, but actually I was planning on doing just one rep, but it went so easily that I figure I would go for a second one.

Because they are playing against teams that have often been together for years. Not because the talent level is higher. Top to bottom, we’re the best individually but its still a team sport in the end. If our NBA championship team competed, the gold would stay in the US.
To give you an idea of European professional basketball talent level, NBA cast offs, college players and never weres are stars over there. They still import one to two such Americans per team and those players are usually the best on the team. The exception is the national teams and those teams are solely comprised of that country’s citizens.
A typical example of the talent level and system is Joe Bryant (Kobe’s dad) was still competing professionally in Italy at the age of 41 - this was WELL beyond when he had any NBA career. He mentioned Sedale Threate who washed out over here in the NBA. I’m sure he went to Europe and played. And I’m sure he was the star of his team - if he wasn’t, they wouldn’t waste the one to two roster spots on an American that wasn’t their star player.

You’re so living in the 80’s… Wake up. There are so many non-american players in the NBA and the US haven’t won any international comp since Sydney 2000… If it wasn’t about talent also, they would have figured it out by now.
And no Sedale didn’t play here, he was like 40+!!! As I mentioned I just played with him for fun. Can’t you read or is your overweight lazy ass lacking comprehension skills???
I’ve also played against steve kerr, david wesley, and thabo sefalosha to name a few… Man, you’re so fucking stupid. Now go back kiss kobe dad’s ass and leave that thread alone until you post your sorry FOOTAGE of your sorry second argentinian division games.
