Which Strength Feat is Most Impressive?

Which of these strength feats do you think is the most impressive???

-Either Vasily Alexeev or Serge Redding’s 500+ pound clean and press.

-Scot Mendelson’s 715 pound bench press.

-Arranda’s 638 pounds x 2 reps raw, ATG squat at a bodyweight of 150 pounds.

-Ed Coan’s 900+ pound deadlift at 220 pounds bodyweight.

-Either Hossein Rezazadeh or Leonid Tarankenko’s 580+ pound clean and jerk.

-Galabin Boevski’s 350+ pound snatch at 150 pounds bodyweight.

-Bob People’s 719 pound raw deadlift at 181 pounds bodyweight.

-Mark Henry’s 900+ pound RAW squat and/or deadlift.

I’ll take People’s deadlift since he is probably the only one who was clean when doing his feat. Coan or Tarankenko next. Mendelson’s bench last.

It really is a tough decision for me. All those feats are fucking sick.

How about Lamar Gant? Lamar Gant deadlifted 289.5 KG in the 56 KG class in 1982 which is still an all time deadlift record in that weight class regardless of powerlifting organization. That’s more than 5x bodyweight and he was supposedly steroid free.

I’ve made up my mind. I’ll settle with the 500+ pound press. Lifting 500 pounds overhead is just monstrous. Just imagine someone lifting a bar overhead with 5 pies and a cookie each side.

Isn’t aranda a 77kg lifter?

Anyway, out of that list, Coan’s pull.

I’d also rank Bolton’s 1,008 deadlift and Kennelly’s smoke show with 1,050 as two of the best lifts ever.

Can’t forget Captain Kirk’s 1000x2 squat either.

Kirk’s 1000x2

‘‘let me hold it’’

Yeah, I was wondering why those three were missing from the list.

Leonid Tarankenko Clean and Jerk easily.

500+ clean and press gets my vote.

damn that’s a hard one lol…there guys are all amazingly strong.

Even though I’m a PLer, I gotta say the clean and press. It takes so much more movement and control of the weight than any of the 3 main lifts.

Arranda’s 638 pounds x 2 reps raw, ATG squat at a bodyweight of 150 pounds.

Filthy

was Mendelson’s bench raw ?

What about Andy Bolton’s 1008.

How about James Henderson, in a tested federation, benching 711 with shitty bodybuilding form, I think this is the most impressive bench ever.

Now that hes done lifting hes a minister, i think that is pretty damn cool too.

lol, I know eh, guy barely knows what he’s doing! What a noooooooob.

Also, I am going with Alexeyev, guys just fascinates me:

1000x2, walked out, single ply. Crazy.

A 638lbx2 ATG squat at any bodyweight is amazing. Someone hitting that at 150lbs is fucking insane.

My faves:

OL:

Leonid Tarankenko Clean and Jerk (Untouched)
Antonio Krastev Snatch (Untouched)
Yurik Vardanian 400 Sinclair (Untouched)
Naim Sulemanoglu Clean and Jerk
Ivan Chakarov Raw Squats 270kg x 3
The lifts of Galabin Boevski and Georgi Markov in Sydney

PL:

Anything done by Eddie Coan, Kirk Karwoski, and Oleksandr Kutcher

He was when he did that squat. Lightest he competed at was 70kg.

No love for Vardanian and Zlatev’s 405kg totals at 82.5kg? Or Blagoev’s 195.5kg snatch at 90kg? Sevinc’s front squat of 280kg at 85kg (PR of 300kg according to the man himself, although only the 280kg is on tape)?
