i was wondering what supps i should buy off T-Nation that are staples that should be taken all year around, even if your bulking or cutting. im 17 and only work full time in the summer so ill prob buy a years worth of supps during the summer,so my budget it limited so i only wanna buy the most important ones.
also i have read the articles on all the supps already, so you dont need to explain your choices just give me a list of recommened staples. thx in advance.
Id say after food. get Metabolic Drive and Grow! Whey both can be considered more food for you which should be #1. Quick handy quality protein. AFter you have enough of that to last a year, id say couple things of creatine that will last a year. Money left?? Flameout is a great choice for health, Spike, etc etc.
Agreed, food and protein should be priority. The only other “must have” is fish oil, I’ve gotten very good results in overall health from this inexpensive supplement.

nice. but i got a few questions. 1 being i thought Grow! Whey and Metablolic Drive were both just whey protien, whats the difference? another being can that new Beta-7 stuff be a superior replacement to creatine? it did say the next creatine, and had positive feedback from cw.

The difference is the type of protein contained in each. Grow! has one type of whey (concentrate or isolate, can’t remember which), while Metabolic Drive has whey isolate and micellar casein. This is a good combo because it makes for long even digestion.

no best thing you can do is read up on then see what each is thats contained in the product threads. It the next creatine as in a supp that actually works etc.
ok so starting this summer it Metabolic Drive, Grow! Whey, and creatine. but how do i know when i should take Grow! Whey or Metabolic Drive and how much to take?
also if i buy a years worth of something at once does my shipping and handling get alot more expensive, and do i get it all at once? cause i wanna plan my doses so i can see how long each jug will last me, that way i can determine how many i should buy. im off to the gym thx for the feedback.

creatine a serving every day. the others when you need protien. Anytime
should i buy Metabolic Drive Complete instead of regular Metabolic Drive for the days when im just feeling to lazy to have a healthy high protien dinner? also i know when i met phill in my first post i was over sensitive to his critisism. but i dropped 5 lbs and have been squatting and deadlifting ever since. infact i can dl over 300 lbs. just to let you know im on the right track.

im not talking replacing dinner with it daily, but whenever my family is ordering fast food it might be handy to just have a Metabolic Drive comp-lete on hand
my advice is to keep reading and get a better understanding of diet and nutriton.
Not trying to be rude just a little blunt, untill you have a good understanding of how and why to take supplements hell even regular food it will be hard to get the best out of them to further your training.

i take supplements to “supplement” my gains. and i thought Metabolic Drive Complete was suppose to be a meal replacement, now because i inquire about using some it seems im guilty of neglecting the importance of nutrition… maybe posting in beginners was a mistake.
