I had several knee injuries over the past 2 years, and have not done any lifting for about 16 months. At this point I seem to be completely recovered (with a little cartilage missing) and have gained 25 lbs… not great. My flexibility sucks, endurance is bad, though my strength seems to have remained ok (have only recently really began to notice a decline). IU guess I am looking for the best way to safely get back into lifting. The last time I had to get back in shape was 10 years ago. Now I’m 40, and a little more worried about hurting myself.
