Training Personal Records - Part 2

I missed this. That’s funny.

I’m an engineer, this is as good as my English gets. Sorry.

I was not defending anyone. I think noting his lack of tightness was a valid criticism. I also, having read some of your other posts, understand that you know your shit. Meat also gets teased constantly for his setup time by the way, he’s aware.

You where however being both an ass and very hypocritical (I believe you the one lacking in the “proper application” of that word). If you don’t want your views discussed and criticized publicly as I did, I would suggest not posting them in a public forum. It is however a public discussion and you’ll get my 2 cents.

I’m sure than if we met we could have a beer too, even if you are a “Dimmesdale”. (If you wouldn’t mind explaining to me what that is)

That’s cool. I can deal with being called an ass. Not the first time and perhaps it fits in this case.

Dimmesdale is the reverend in The Scarlet Letter. He is basically the poster child for hypocrisy.

BTW, for what you were trying to convey I actually found your post relatively articulate. Guess I was just being an ass.

APwsearch seems a bit brusque but a lot of coaches are, I remember a conversation with the GB Powerlifting coach Barrie Nelson R.I.P. where he just said; “that squat technique is shit, change it” thats just being blunt and showing he’s bothered in the first place, sometimes things need to be said, to many internet lifters pat themselves and others on the back on a regular basis.

My modest lifts at the current age of 17, body weight of 173lb, 5’4 height:

Back squat (in lb) - 220x20
Haven’t tried RM.

Deadlift (in lb) - 319 for 1RM
This is just attempt. I, sadly, don’t know my true 1RM.

Bench press (in lb) - 198 for 1RM
My weak spot. Unlike the deadlift, this here is true 1RM

edit: Next time I do these I’ll make sure to post a vid. of the lifts. I cannot promise good vid quality.

Hammer Strength Chest Press
3 plates per side x1 (PR + 20 lbs)

Gosh I hate trolls. His he gonna get the fuck out ?

DaCharming your from the ground zercher looked brutal … The setup is real sick.

While I’m here today’s PR

335x3 on BB Rows

225x8
275x1
on incline bench press, First time Incline Benching with barbell. It’S pretty damn close to my paused flat bench.

That was the only interesting PR on this Sat workout !

Thanks. Still have tender spots on my lower thighs from that, but they’ll give you another gear to work with in the squat.

If I have the balls I’ll try for sure. So far my best for zercher is, at pin bottom, 405x3 or 455x1 That’s there that I said to myself “damn I need some longer, thicker shirt …”

Did this change from the “post your PR” thread to the “tell other people how to do stuff” thread? Just wanna know, I got a buncha stuff saved up…

Yo nice work i hit that same weight using 25lb plates 2 summers ago at the 193 lbs, then i slipped 2 discs in my back. Your post has helped inspired me 2 get my deadlift back. btw nich PJ what do you C&J?
I have a prolapsed L4 in my back, did it 4yrs ago. It got a lot better after 9months of rehab and I had a ‘miracle’ weekend where it just ‘clicked’ and got a lot better somehow?! That literally was the first time in 4yrs that I’ve maxed out my DL. I’ve always been careful due to the L4.

Snatch: 116
C&J: 142
@ 83.5kg
I have Cleaned 145 twice, but no juice for the Jerk, got under 150 twice also but couldn’t squat up.

Hey bro, bottom line you shouldn’t give a shit about me.

You have a meet coming up. I wish you a great outing.

Go kill it. I will be watching and celebrate a good meet with you because that is the bottom line.

I guess I am trying to get in your head a little.

You train hard, let’s see you take it to some big platforms and put an exclamation point on it.

okay…
MM, maybe some day you will get a total that will qualify you for a real meet, like SPF worlds… oh wait…

You’re cute.

3 things.

  1. Look at the entry, there is no qualifying total.
  2. Look at the lifter list. It should be called SPF Regionals. How the fuck can you have a
World meet when nobody who lives further West than IL is competing?
  3. I think SPF was recently demoted to sub IPA status.

Nice try though. You obviously aren’t from around these parts.

From the SPF website:

Must Qualify to lift in this event:

  1. If you placed at the World Championship in 2008 you are qualified

  2. Or Place 1st. through 3rd. at the Nationals 2009

  3. Or personal invitation.

So while it isn’t the IPF worlds, hey, it aint come one, come all open either.

Signed,

Not An SPF Lifter…

hit 320x5 cluster reps and 340x3 cluster reps on squat this past friday (never even attempted 340 before once but i was feeling frisky that day) weighing in at 155lbs. Couldn’t have been happier

Ah, good - you’ve done your homework like a good stalker should.

I thought it was a good line, so I included it in my post.

Giving you full credit, of course!
