Haha yah gotta love commercial gyms. I’m actually just happy they have a squat rack with pegs on the bottom and top, I was really surprised when I joined.

had an awesome bench night tonight. after hitting my 5/3/1 numbers i finished with the 495x2. i’ve hit this before but barely. i feel if i was fresh i could have hit it for maybe 4 tonight. i wish every training session was like this one. everything felt so damn light.

Squatted 315x5, lighted 3 plates has ever felt on my back

overhead press’n is really taking off. my max strict standing military press is 315. i hit 270x7 on my last set tonight. can’t wait to see where it stands now.

just noticed your post…

i’m still hovering around 250. it creeps up to 254 at times but then i drop back.

since i got back from my meet my lifts have really taken off. leading up to our meet we dropped 5/3/1 and did a lot of supramaximal work with chains. it seems to have really helped. we will go back to the supramaximal work about 6 weeks out from our next meet.

First time squatting 260 in a meet :slight_smile: 40-lb. meet PR in a month.

Monstrous work to be honest. VERY nice.

This isn’t a good number by any means but it’s a huge step for me. Benched 135x7 yesterday at ~150lbs. It was the best bench workout I’ve had in awhile. Felt really solid. Also had a decent deadlift day Saturday with 275x3 w/o straps, which I had been using for awhile, so my grip strength is coming along.
