Hit both of these PRs in the past week:
Deadlift - 210kg x 1 (+10kg)
Squat - 165kg x 1 (+15kg)
Also hit 125kg x 1 on Bench (+10kg), didn’t get that videoed though!

you earned that one. On that 700 box, do you wear briefs or train it raw?

Loose suit bottoms. I am nursing a torn hamstring and its the only way I can squat without wanting to kill myself.
End of my current cycle:
Deadlift 220kg (485lbs)
Also matched my all time Bench PR of 125kg (275lbs) - much better rep this time!
Training day (bench) at Total Performance Sports in Boston. Not a PR for me, but a video no-less and a funny ass cramp at the end…guess I should have drank more water. Hardest 405 I’ve ever done =(
355 2-Board Press +40lb PR
First of all my numbers are weak lol, but they’re going up.
Tonight I DL’d 225x11. 55 lb increase from 6 months ago.
Came up when the spotter said to, ended up bein a bit high (appears so from this angle). Still, most weight I have ever even had on my back.
45lb+2 sec. pause on low box SSB box squat. 8 months apart (the old one was a free SSB squat).
edit: The record was 290lb
I hit a 700 squat this past saturday. It was walked out, i had briefs/wraps/belt. I weigh 204. I squat every other week and deadlift the weeks in between. Leading up to this i hit a PR set of 5 @ 585 (60lb PR), two weeks later i hit 625x3 (10lb PR) then two weeks later i hit the 700 (25lb PR). This was a goal of mine for about 10 years. I am currently 27 years old.
Here are some vids from deads today…
625x1
Right now I am currently working out at a gym that has very limited weights, thus we actually had to tape on the last 25’s…You will see the tape pop off when i drop the weight.
On the bar is:
4 45’s Bumper
4 45’s Regular
2 15’s Bumper
4 35’s regular
2 25’s regular
Also notice the awesome bruise under my right arm from fighting Saturday…Win…
So this went up fairly easily…but we couldn’t fit anymore weight on, so we just Gorillia taped on some 10’s to each side and it was going up super smooth until the plates decided to roll and that is when everything got destroyed…But I have no doubt I would have gotten it…So i am counting it!
645x1 and a free plate explosion!
Stoked about the lifts though…Whoever says that this Warrior Athlete stuff won’t make you stronger while making you leaner and more athletic has some conflicting evidence now…
Oh yeah, and after this lift, I got cocky, taped on 675 and it broke the ground but I couln’t clear my knees…it is definitely not out of reach though…
Ruhlfan: That is awesome man! Do you have a youtube page or anything with these on there? Would be awesome to see.
Hit 280 and 285 last night on incline press, both PR’s.
Deadlift: 325
squat: 230
bench: 160
I’ll come back and post my pr’s when I add about 100lbs to each.
gett’n ready for a push/pull meet next weekend. been progressively cutting weight and am down to 250 now. i recently switched to conventional deads to allow a previously torn adductor to stay healthy. i’ve pulled three times from the floor leading up to this meet and am pretty happy with the results so far. here’s the dead and the bench leading up to this meet.
the dead was 600lbs of bar weight and 100lbs of chain. the bench is 425lbs of bar weight and 100lbs of chain. the bench was approximately 475 at the chest and well over 500 at the top.
Meat, you just made my 645 look worthless! BTW thanks for your help getting me through my injury…I seriously wouldn’t have believed that i could come back stronger if you hadn’t talked with me man…Really do appreciate that.
