I hit 330 tonight on bench. 5lb pr. It was the SLOWEST rep ever. It literally took 10-12 seconds.
Also got 225x10 on close grip bench tonight. 10lb PR.
Saturday I hit 325x5 on RDL’s for a 20lb PR.

hit an easy 585x1 against bands on squat. approximately 685 at top. couldn’t get over how easy this set was. i’m going to up this to 600 against bands next week after hitting my 5/3/1 working sets.

i’m liking it a lot. but i’ve changed it some. i’ve been using my working sets as a warmup to a heavy single leading up to my next comp.
cycling my training using the percentages has given me better recovery between sessions.
Some very impressive lifts guys, time to up my game a bit I think!
425 squat, +20lb pr at -30 lb bw. i know its a little high, any form criticism appreciated.

Deadlift: 475 10lb PR
RDL: 335x5 10lb PR
Dips: BW+135x6 20lb PR
Front Squat: 205x5 2 rep PR (I suck at front squats, too many knee injuries)

STB, How far over do you bend when you do these? Body parallel to the floor or 45 deg angle, somewhere in between? Was just curious as to what angle(s) you find work the best for the deadlift and or squats. Thanks man.

I have a set of chains that I set to hang a bar almost exactly where I start my pulls. It’s pretty low. A little higher than parallel.
355 close grip bench, almost not ashamed of it anymore.
first time doing pin suspended goodmornings. got 365x5:
is this the gist of how these are done? the bar was sitting at about hip height standing next to it. gonna go for a 3rep max next week on these. i wish my gym had either an SSB or the ability to do chain suspended for these ![]()
edit: also i used a buffalo bar if that matters
