275x1 (+20 lbs)

Front Squat
285 1x2 sets (+15 lbs)

1 board bench press against minibands- 520x1 +5lb PR

bench press: 225 x 2, I know its not much to most of you guys, but I remember when I couldnt press 185, so im pretty happy with it.

Nice job. I’m still excited by 225 because I can remember when it took everything I had to press it once. One day you’ll pound it out 8 times, sit up and say “Yeeeeeaaaaahhh!”

Deadlift 440x1 +30lb PR

First time using a Sumo stance… maybe I should always use one.

440 was fast. Bet there’s more in the tank.

Pulled 400 in my first deadlift session for 3 years.

Back injuries, and then fear of back injuries. Then I go and do that. I should look into the possibility that I’m an idiot.

Deadlift - 505x2 +5 lbs +1 rep PR

Getting off the ground is a bitch. I thought 495 5x5 from the shins might translate to at least triples, but it didn’t. Then again, I also thought I loaded 500 on the bar, but it was 505.

There was another rep or two there at least to be honest…

Take your stance in a tad, tighten up before ya pull and there’s lots more there.

Yeah, I definitely agree about squeezing more reps out of that.

What do you mean by taking it in a bit? Any closer stance and I’m going to have to start duck-footing it.

Bulgarian Dumbell Split Squats 240x5

I had knee surgery 4 months ago and have been doing single leg stuff and hip belt squats until I can squat deep. I have more than doubled my weight on this exercise in a couple months.

Military Press
185x2 (PR +10lbs)

Squat
395x1 (PR +10 lbs)

275x1 paused bench this was a grinder but it is my best pasued bench ever, i also did 265x1 before easily no lift off and i think i will be good to hit 280 for my meet in three weeks

Deadlift

240kg x 2 (+1 Rep PB)

Was meant to be doing 240 x 1,1,1,1,1 but it was pretty easy so pulled a double on the first set probably could have pulled it for more but didn’t want to stray off the beaten path too far.

495x1 deadlift, got it above the knees but had to hitch to lock it out, heaviest weight ive ever gotten off the floor, but i will post again when i do it clean all the way any suggestions for getting those last final inches on the lift? its like i couldnt stand up with it :frowning:

2-board Bench
305x1 (+15lbs)

Midthigh Zercher lift
435x1 (+70lb - been a loooong time since I worked that height)

Bench Press

385 (PR +10lbs)

Squat

500 (PR +25)

Deadlift

520 (PR +45lbs)

Deadlift is new, the others are a couple months old. BTW 198 class lifter, train at 205ish
