Training Personal Records - Part 2

I don’t post much (or at all really), but I finally hit 90kg in the Snatch at training last night [b]+4kg[\b] and had to tell someone. Plus I hit 137.5kg in the Front Squat [b]+7.5kg[\b]

This is week 10 of a 12 week contest prep and so far it’s going great, I can’t wait for the comp.

I forgot to add, I lift in the 69kg class and these were done at a bodyweight of about 70kg.

And I clearly can’t work out how to bold properly.

Bench: 172.5kg / 380lbs (PR +10lbs)
DL: 282.5kg / 623lbs (PR +3lbs)

Nice work. Any PR on a National platform is a big fuggin deal! 4 PR’s is huge.

Looks to me like had you been a little more aggressive out of the hole you may have hit that 3rd squat. How did it feel? You looked kind of tentative.

Was your squat down a bit since Smolov?

Last week at CA State Games

Squat 507 +2 lb PR

Deadlift 507 +12 lb PR

1 board bench press against bands-paused - 515x1-+20lb PR from last week

elbows out extensions- 140’s x 12 - +2 rep PR from last week

Doing 5/3/1. First cycle and really enjoying the structure of rep/sets/%1RM. Will start posting every 4th week of the 3rd week cycle if that makes sense.

All of these are PR’s in rep and weight for Box Squats. Box squats are a tad high. Have videos will post later for the visually impaired. Would normally do 1 rep at these percentages of 1RM.
[3305], [3753], [420*1], Felt good and tried to push it and couldn’t get out of hole with 455. Videos really point out flaws. Got a some work to do but here are my vids.

Dead Incline Bench (from chest)

This is a volume PR. I was supposed to do a 5x6 with 475 on deadlift, but I didn’t have the energy yesterday and ended up breaking it up.

my sets ended up looking like this:
475 pound deadlift x 6, 6, 4, 4, 4, 3, 3 (with a belt and straps)

For a grand total of 30 reps at about 85% of my max. PR + 5 pounds and 5 reps

not an overall PR but a post injury one.

squat 655x1- felt strong

210 kg x 10 (+ 10 kg PB)

two weeks ago i hit a 455 dl. yesterday, i hit a 475lb dl. today, i am hurting =)
in two weeks ill get video because, “video or it didnt happen”

Sumo Rack pull (6" below knee)
505x1 (+40lbs)

This is one I didn’t lock out. I did one after this that I DID lock out.
