Training Personal Records - Part 2

I recently hit 500 lbs in the deadlift. I don’t know how long it wll take to get to 600.
I’d like to hit a 405 squat as soon as possible. I can do 350, but it takes EVERYTHING I have to muster it up.

I decided tonight I couldn’t wait 3 more weeks to give 545 a ride so I worked up to it and hit it tonight.

Don’t laugh at my shoes – I forgot my gym shoes and I’m not allowed to lift barefoot in my gym.

Finally pulled 5 plates tonight. Felt a lot harder than it looked (and I’m sure it doesn’t look pretty haha).

This was really awesome for me because it is a +30# PR from my competition in February, but I’ve lost 20 lbs since the comp and have only been back on 5-3-1 for 2.5 weeks after using V-Diet workouts for the previous 2 months.

couple prs this week post shoulder strain that lasted 2 months benched 225 for 10, overhead pressed 185 for 8 +4 reps, Deadlifted 365 for 10 never tried to do it before so no original start on that, and squated 365 for 20 reps was only aimin for 5 on wendler’s sets of 3 sets 5 but the reps just kept goin.

145kg x 7 close grip bench press (+5kg PB)

have to move my lower day til tomorrow since the other gym I go to with a ssb was closed Fri. and Sat. for graduation. Lame.

Also it’s my second week for doing Westside style training so it feels good to know it’s working.

Hit a 495 squat yesterday. My goal for this year was to hit 505x3 so I’m close. Hopefully in another 6 months it will be well beyond 505x3.

tried to hit 255 for a triple afterward just for fun. exhaled out of the hole and almost blacked out.

I recently upped some of my PR’s…i posted them in my log But thought I would throw them out over here…

i know they are only gym lifts, but i’m still pretty proud of them…
