Power Snatch: 195x1 (+10lb PR)
…Starting to climb above BW.
deadlift 1RM
375 x 1…thats a 15 lb PR from about 2 months ago when I pulled a 360 (with room to spare).
and thats 100 pounds of progress from the first time I maxed on deads ; about 3 and a half years .
now I have to decide whether to end the cycle , or go for a double bodyweight pull next week . weighed in at 189 today…and pretty sure I would have gotten another 3 pounds .

Not to be an ass (although I pretty much am being one) but 375 after 3 and a half years of working out? That seems like a number that someone should get within 6 months of working out. Maybe its time to take a good look at how you’re training.
Oh, and recently hit a 355 front squat. Want 4 plates bad.
Deadlift
1x2 430 10 Pound PR! -It feels pretty great when you haven’t touched a weight before and you pull it for a fast double.
1x8 350 (beltless) 10 Pound PR
225lbs for 2 sets of 10 reps on the front squat after my first set of 205lbs for ten reps also. That felt pretty good.
Pulled 405 last week but the lift it self just didnt feel good. going to try Sumo after my deload week…I hate deload week.
I hit a 7 x 170kg squat PR this week on 5/3/1. That’s an estimated 210kg max which puts me potentially close to breaking the 200kg 1rm sticking point I’ve had for ages.
WOOT!
210kg deadlift @ 87kg BW. Ignore the straps - tore a callous earlier in the session. Aim is to hit 500lb by the end of August as we’ll have a baby to take care of then and I’ll be living off 2 hours of sleep a night.

I know , I stir that shit around constantly . no excuses , but I started at 42, as a complete athletic virgin , so to speak (165 lb skinny fat ex-smoker;I was quite out of shape). guaranteed I wasnt gonna go from a 250/275 to 375 in six months . I made very limited gains the first year . programming probably lacked …I dont know . not many guys to compare notes with .
but thanks…I always try to listen

Thanks man. Toughest pull to date for sure!
Touch and go dead 465 x 9
I’d have to look at my log to see what the old PR was but I know this is one. I’ll be having a go at 6 plates here soon.
pulled 2x1x170 from 6cm platform last sunday, last pr was 1x155 and max pull was 200, hopefully there is a correlation!
