bench press against bands-
445x1 +20lb PR
455x1 +30lb PR
bodyweight… 245.
Two PRs to report.
Bench against doubled mini bands – 1x340 (+5lb)
Pause squats (no belt) – 5x415 (+10lb)
Two PR’s this week. 4 weeks out from my first meet.
585 squat (Metal Pro Suit and Briefs) - about an inch or two above parallel in a super tight unbroken in suit, i;'ll get it next week.
Reverse Band Bench. 145kgx3 and 150x2, trying to work to a 3RM. Most weight i’ve ever held and locked out.
Hit a new PR last night. Pulled a nice 425X1 on Deadlift. Very pumped about that one. Was at a BW of 180.
Pulled 405x6
I’ve been waiting to max out my deadlift at 405 for so long now on 5/3/1.
Can’t wait to start westside in the summer when I have more time.
804x1 at the arnold. 33lb meet pr.
full r.o.m. bench
210 x 3

Yeah he was competing in the deadlift competition, sick deadlift man!
Deadlift 410x2 (Previous PR 405x1)
Pretty stoked about this, especially considering before this I had already done 5 work sets and then I followed it up with 8 reps with 325. Next week I am going for 420x2, 2 weeks I will retest my max, I am loving the Magnusson/Ortmayer deadlift routine.

great to hear the routine is working out well for you!
High Anderson Squat (4" above parallel)
440x1
Plan to hit 450 next week and then start dropping the pins closer to parallel.
Meanwhile parallel and below parallel Anderson’s are edging closer to 400/360. Very pleased with this routine.
215x3 on squat. 215x5 on Monday.
3oox7 squat
my 1 rep max was 295 at the beginning of the fall semester
I figured this was a good thread to post my lifts/get some response (rather than starting my own thread for one question). I’ve been training for strength since last June. I lost about 80-90 lbs the year before and was fairly weak/emaciated at the end of the process. I’ve been working really hard on the big three but I sometimes feel like my strength is really pathetic compared to some of the posts I see here. My bench is my weakest lift by far (in terms of both progress and weight). Just wondering if anything appears immediately wrong.
Bests so far:
Bench: somewhere between 205-225 (got 205 for 2, ground out 225 but think I had some help from spotter.)
Back Squat: 325 / 315x3
Sumo DL: 360x2
Thanks!

Nothing seems super out of place. You just need to get stronger everywhere. Lift heavy shit… often.

My bench is even weaker in comparison to DL and Squat so dont worry, i blame my long and weak arms
