Thanks, its the weighlifting club at the University they are building an extension and that dungeon is unfortunately getting demolished at the end of the year, sucks.
I don’t usually post my PR’s, because I am not very strong, but I have been getting them every session of 5/3/1. I figure in honor of this new thread, I will post today’s.
Bench 235x7 (plus 5 reps)
One day I will be lifting my current weights in kilograms, one day soon.
I set a PR yesterday on Dumbell Rows. I had set a goal for myself to row my bodyweight (175) for reps, and hit it for the first time, so I was excited. I had to jerry-rig the dumbell with tape and ratchet straps but it worked out.
I hit 175x18. My previous best was 160x17, so big jump. I did use straps, so you probably need to subtract about 150 pounds from this.
Been setting some “new” PR’s lately so I thought I would post them.
DL-455
Squat- 405
Bench- 275
SP- 160
All at under 190 lbs.
Iv taken a 2 year hiatus from competing due to a bad squat injury but I plan on competing at a much lower bodyweight than my previous 230+. I hope to be 500+,450+,300+ while staying under 200, by the new year for my re-introduction to competing
