Nice, I got some work to do if I am going to beat you to a 500 pound deadlift!
awesome zercher Pale one!!!
hit a couple PR’s tonight…
reverse band bench press 725x1 +20lb PR
flat back, feet up, long pause bench press 475x1 + 10lb PR
Paused bench: 355 for a triple
Deadlift 300x13. My goal at the begining of the year was to deadlift 405. With that lift I’m pretty sure that I’ve surpassed the 405 mark. I’m not ready to test my 1RM yet but I’ll keep you posted. I want to run at least 3 more cycles of 5/3/1 before I test my 1RMs.
Other goals include a 260 bench and a 350 squat. Bench is coming along well but my squat is porgressing slowly at the time.
Estimated 1RM for Bench 245
Estimated 1RM for Squat 330
I may not reach the goals I set for squats and bench by the end of the year but I’ll get pretty close.

You sick puppy, great job. What was that, blue or purple band? I couldn’t see your feet, were you wearing the heels? That should have helped your leg drive and given some extra boost.

those be da blue bands. i left my stilletos at home last night. if i had worn them i would have surely recieved at least a 100lb carryover from them. plus they really tone the calves.

Thank you Viking and Mrodock.
Viking looking at your log earlier, the only work you have to put towards it is show up… you’re a beast.
Don’t get me started on Mrodock
HUGE deadlift PR tonight… 257.5kg/565lb x2
Previous best was 250kg/550lb x1 while I was 12kg/28lb heavier!!!
I squatted a 350 ATG PR with a belt monday.
Also pulled 425 beltless PR same day.
Last week I benched 225 pr and power cleaned 205 pr. Those are my weak lifts but progress is progress.

Haney is a IPF guy. So I’m betting single ply.
I’m also wondering how long it’s been since his last DL PR. Over a year?

It’s the same single ply Metal V-Type Squatter (yes, wide stance squat suit) that I pulled my last legitimate (as in all time) deadlift PR in November 2007 in!!
I pulled 250 for a convo PR this time last year. I’m down a full weight class and a bit since then so I’m happy with the progress!

Awesome pull Hanley!
squat 300 x 9
my PR at the end of the summer was 325 x 1
I am VERY pleased with this
last night of this squat cycle- i train with two guys. as a result, i had dave spotting and calling depth. not a good combo. dave called me too soon. i didn’t want to end on a high squat so i went for it again. damn… walking 805 out is a bit scary becuase if you step back a little too far, the bands will throw you off balance. going back on your heels with 805 isn’t something i want to do. thankfully, i had a solid step back on my second attempt. i got dave to spot, jowee to call depth from the side and a trainer to video. after it was all said and done, i got it. glad to have it behind me now.
reverse band squat 805x0 high
reverse band squat 805x1 +40lb PR
