p.s:

  • Do posting makes me feel embarrassed, compared to you big fellas
  • Not posting makes me feel like I’m missing something sorta cool

p.s.2: Does anyone REALLY needs a vid. of those kinder garden lifts?

trap-bar deadlifts: 330 x 5
cheap PR since it was my first time doing them

One-Armed Standing Barbell Press
85x2 (+5lbs)

Deadlift
227.5kg/500lbs x 3 x 2

First time pulling 500lbs for reps, a big landmark for me.

Bench Press
345lbs x 1
New 1RM record

Deadlift
405lbs x 1 (+40 pounds)

Its tough to say this is actually a 40 pound PR, because I have pulled 365 for 5 reps. I have known I can do it for a while, but actually doing it felt pretty awesome. Onward to 500!

Squats volume, PR 2x5x130kilos ,had a belt on.

Just hit a body weight Zercher squat for 3 sets of 5 at 85kg, resetting on legs between each rep. If I can eat enough I hope to plough on through to 100 for 3 sets of 5 at this time next week. Starting strength is a lot more brutal than people give it credit for.

Kinda ghey… but I did some muscle ups today for the first time - My first muscle up!! - YouTube

I hit 415x10 raw on squats Wednesday night. Two good things about that. One, they were all below parallel, and B I had the little tracers in my vision when I finished. I love those… Hahaha… Congrats to everyone…

Felt frisky during a deload week and took a pr in Zerchers from just below the kneecap, 305 x1:

Then 3 minutes later:

315:

Form is all over the place, but what the hell.

Had my first meet today, only set a PR in the DL with 405. Its a 20 lb. PR, so im happy.

Seated OHP - pin 10 (eyebrows)
235x1,1,1 (PR +20lbs)

210x5 (PR + 5lbs)

Front Squat from pins - pin 6 (parallel)
265x1 (PR +5 lbs)

275x1,1 (PR +15lbs)

245x5 (PR +10lbs)

Squat-385x1 (55 pound PR!)

This made me absolutely ecstatic. I hit 365, which was my goal weight, and it felt pretty easy so I decided to give 385 a shot. I tried for it and got just a bit of the way out of the hole and then had to ditch it onto the pins. I started unloading the bar and was thinking about the failure realizing I just needed to not be a pussy and push harder. So instead of throwing in the towel I put the bar back on the rack and reloaded 3 plates and 35’s.

I rested a few minutes, and started getting pumped up, threw on my belt, got under the weight, and it sure as hell didn’t shoot up, but it would have passed in a meet! Wow it felt good. I have been training the squat (or my legs at all) for about 10 months so it felt good to be able to hit 385 already.

I’m starting the Sheiko cycle from “Sheiko Shakes Up Powerlifting” next week, so my test day will be the day after Christmas, hopefully I will be squatting well into the 400’s by then.

Dead Incline Bench
235x1,1,1 (PR +5 lbs)

210x5 (PR +5lbs)

High Anderson Squat (pin 7 - 4" abv parallel)
405x1 (PR +20lbs) (with bonus farting)

This is an increase of 60 lbs in 2-1/2 months for this lift.
50 lbs increase for the “from parallel” version of it.

345x5 (PR +10lbs)

Pulled 150kg (330lbs) without straps for the first time yesterday twice and was ecstatic. Been trying for like the last fortnight but my grip kept failing at around knee height.

Also managed to do 25 total reps with 100kg (220lbs) on box front squats (was attempting 5x5 but had to break on a couple of the last sets)

I’m currently at around 70.5kg (155lbs~) bodyweight so i’m quite happy with that.
