The 'I Hate Jay Cutler' Thread

ROFL.

Perfect.

What’s the opinion on their legs? I am not very knowledgeable in judging bodybuilders but I think Cutler’s legs are much more impressive looking than Phil’s legs.

? for prof x and others that are more clued in to BB contests-on the shots of the rear lat spread, am I wrong, or is Jay leaning to his left and the rear, while Phil is more upright (the way I thought a rear lat spread is supposed to be done)?

Phil got robbed. Jay won because of the combination of his larger size and the fact he won 3 before this one.

I’m just saying, Jay keeps getting voted in because when you stand them side by side, he does look wider than everyone else.

I believe this is a point that you can’t just overlook when you compare side by side. Sure, when Heath was up there by himself (and even when the other top guys were alongside), I knew he was gonna be 1st or 2nd, but next to Jay, I hate to say it, but the ‘structural’ advantages Jay has really do affect his overall impact.

Yup. Cutler’s waist is wider than most men’s shoulders. But that doesn’t matter if you’re blonde, white and highly marketable. Phil or Kai will have to come in next year so ridiculous and cartoonish that anything other than a dethroning will be a travesty.

Jay has the better quads and an edge on calves(which really “don’t count” anymore). I think Phil has the superior hamstrings at least from side shots so it’s somewhat of a wash. Quads however to add to the overall flare of a physique and help keep Jay’s wide waist from looking as bad as it could. Hamstrings have a big impact in only a couple shots whereas quads are prominent in all front shots.

the people mentioning race in here are fucking stupid. 19 of the last 30 Mr Olympia contests have been won by Non Caucasian BBers.

I dunno if this is off topic at all but…

I hate jay cutler…

You also thought your boy Amit had a great structure when he has some serious flaws and he ended up getting destroyed. Funny how bias works.

You don’t know what you’re talking about.

Can anybody explain why these guys get such huge fucking guts? I read Prof X once said it was because they have 5 pounds of meat in their stomachs, but I’m assuming at contest time their stomachs are almost empty. Is it all from GH and insulin or does carrying that much mass simply require a bigger core to support it? And last year people were saying Jay came in with a tighter waist, how do they shrink their waist size?

Yeah well food is part of it, but insulin can cause fatty deposits to build up around the organs, it’s under the muscle so it doesn’t take away from the abs, but nevertheless the accumulation of those fatty deposits will lead to a distented belly.

…and you would still be wrong if you are running around accusing everyone with a stomach that isn’t perfectly flat of this. Everyone isn’t made the same and I am not sure guys under 200lbs quite understand the physical changes involved in gaining and carrying that much more muscle. They are looking at it from the perspective of someone who has never been anywhere near that size.

If you are looking at some guy weighing over 270lbs at under 6 feet tall and expecting him to have a waist like someone weighing 180 then your perspective may be off.

You can’t squat over 500lbs for 20 reps, do bench presses with 4 or 5 plates a side and expect to look like an Abercrombie model.

In other words, considering how often I see dummies calling anything GYNO if it looks strange to them, telling people that every guy with a belly that isn’t flat is using insulin makes no sense.

You don’t have to use ANYTHING for that to be the case in some people.

For instance, Meet Kevin Nee. Guess what? Chances are great his stomach isn’t less than flat because of insulin use even though he is nowhere near “fat”…yet I see newbs running around calling out bigger guys for that very thing for no reason.

There are bodybuilders who are simply shaped that way or they lean further back with their posture forcing their abs out.

I don’t think that is the gut he was referring too, obviously heavy weights will equal a bigger waist. No arguing there, however there are some pro bodybuilders who clearly have big guts because of insulin use. It’s the name of the game. Slin is a huge drug in the sport and definitely a cause for a lot of the freaks we’ve seen emerge from the 90s until today. Yes not all guts are slin related but some are totally related to slin use/abuse.

I have far from an educated opinion about it, but I thought part of it was HGH use that causes organ growth? Or am I just a retard lol?

That’s not the point. How many of these guys do you think even know half of what some of us do about bodybuilding? How many here even have a high school level understanding of biology? If you make a completely generalized statement that basically says “rounded gut equals insulin use”, then every single time some newb sees ANY big guy walking around without a completely flat stomach, that is what the relation will be.

Also, just because this bodybuilder over here may be able to contribute a distended gut to several years of extreme drug use, that one over there is just shaped that way…meaning both will wait on you to complete your medical education and take blood samples and decade long progress track records before coming to a verdict.

You see, that is why the word ‘MAY’ is used in medical research so much.

The truth? No one knows for sure because before that, the average person was blaming this on “roid gut” before anyone was even using gh the way it is used now.

That is why you can’t assume things like that. Simply being that big is the greatest factor considering what it takes daily to pull that off from the weight used to the amounts of food eaten.

How is insulin used? Just curious
