Arnold Classic!

Hey, the Arnold is coming up soon! Me and a few friends got a room, and a 3 day pass for the expo. This is my first time going, and im wondering if anybody has some suggestions. is there lots going on at the expo? i do know tons of supplement company’s and athletes will be there, but what else does everybody do throught the time there. Im pumped for the Animal cage, and meating a lot of pros and even some UFC fighters.

Get there early, bring an extra draw string bag, power lifting comps, crossfit expo, fencing, ping pong. Everything. Just walk around and see as much as you can see. Literally pumped shoulders with Forest Griffin last year. Tall dude.

The expo is an utter joke with the number of people there.

Go to the events, but get there early. If you want to actually see the cage, arrive very, very early. Make your way as close as you can.

Skip all the free crap that’s being given out.

Here is the current list of competitors

Am I missing something? Or is it still open for pro registration? I got this list just before I posted this from the Arnold site.

Not sure about Winklaar, but I’m pretty sure all of the others are gunning for the top spot at the Olympia and would rather not focus on contest prep for the Arnold.

cedric is looking immense

yeah, him and Dexter are my two faves

Ced is THE guy I have my eye on.

Well, Shawn Rhoden too, but he’s not on that list.

Ced definitely has everything he needs to walk in and take the contest. Rhoden, after his last year’s performances, is smart to sit out until next year’s Olympia. The guy’s a potential O winner if I ever saw one.

i just don’t get the rhoden hype.

imo he is WAY behind phil and kai - he lacks alot of size

i get that he is the aesthetics guy but being realistic he has no chance of actually beating the top two guys unless he gains about 30lbs.

also isnt he about 40 years old (i could be wrong).

tony freeman, lighter and tighter

don’t think he’ll be able to beat dex or ced though…but looking solid nonetheles

he is at least late 30’s… too late to beat heath or kai IMO

i can see dexter taking this

i have a feeling ced isnt gonna have it

maybe due to bad posing but some of ced’s rear shots dont look that amazing to me, i think it might just be he is leaning back too much though, but his legs and calves seem lacking both in size and condition

back condition Is very good but lacks width although again could be posing

sorry cant post pics but extremely easy to find.

still hope ced smashes would love him to win the O soon and I am a kai fan, really do not want phil to keep winning.

there you go

cheers

what are your opinions of that pic?

his legs look too small and not detailed enough imo, especially in comparison to his upper body. His quads usually have a great aize and look to the thoigh so maybe it’s just the pic.

might not be showcasing his back at his best in this pic either.

Well first I think the angle of the pic is not helping him as it seems its taken from a position a bit higher than him

Also, it looks as if his legs/knees are not flaring on the outside enough to make the outter quads look bigger, especially the left leg

As far as conditionning is concerned with all the things these guys have access to things can change a lot in about 10days

We will just have to see

Pics of pros by themselves are always hard to judge anyways heh

1st Ben Pakulski
2nd Dexter Jackson
3rd Cedric McMillan

my prediction for top 3

The lineup for this year’s Arnold is kinda “sad” though :frowning:

Having no one from last year’s top 3 is meh :frowning:
