I’m looking to add 10-15 lbs by mid fallish and get my bench up over 300(currently 275, almost got 285 last week). I don’t have a specific squat goal as I don’t really have a max but i want to continue with great form and get up to repping around 350-375.
Hmm… I hit 150s x 4 for DB bench today which has been a goal for a while. My goal for the summer is to have a resting 6 pack with no decrease in strength.

We did this last year, and even though we had 6,000,000 people put up goals and only like 4 of us put up results, I liked having the specific goals in my head and out in public for accountability.

I admit I took part in that thread in forgot all about it. But I did end up reporting back after I noticed it. Just a couple weeks late. lol.
My goals for this summer are going to be a big skewed. My ACL recovery is pretty rough and I got into a collision with a pickup truck on my bicycle (ironically rehabbing knee) 3 weeks ago and my elbow is recovering from that. But back in the gym this week.
-
350 1rm on bench press. I got 335 smoothly a week before ACL surgery in February. Got back up 315 4 weeks ago before the bicycle collision. Hopefully I can get back on track.
-
120 x 6 on low incline dumbbells. My best was 115x6 presurgery in Feb.
-
Be able to front squat in any capacity. I’d be happy with 135. It’s been 4 months since surgery and my knee is still shot.
-
Get to a leaner bodyweight. I have no idea what that is right now. I’m 230 so I estimate 210. I’d love to be able so see some abs before Labor day. Not just the outline, the actual abs. I will not accept any strength loss on this diet. See goal 1 and 2.
-
20 pullups with good form. I can do 8 now. I’m building a pullup station in my backyard next week. I hate the bullshit ones that hang on the door frame. I don’t like to have to bend my legs when I hang.
Summer Plans:
-Put on some ‘quality’ weight
-Stay under 195 lbs
-Begin contest prep for INBF Worlds in November
and ultimately…
-CRUSH THE COMPETITION AT THE WORLDS! (and see them driven before me, amidst the lamentation of the women! -lol)

I believe it is because women prefer the toaster Strudel to the poptart, because it is a superior product. Much like Diet Coke > diet pepsi.

Right now, based on my best estimate, I’m about halfway to all of these, so it’s looking optimistic at this point.
I’d like to see my abs again at 240lbs
Hit 185kg Squat before I leave for training in July (and pray to God I have access to a gym while on course)
If I can keep my strength up during my training
Hit 230kg Squat before summers end
maintain BW slightly above 77kg
get lifeguarding certification (?? damn availability of courses for this, I want to get that done BEFORE I leave in July, not when I get back in August >=(
My goal is to become the leanest I’ve ever been. My goal is 10-12% body fat. Currently at 18%.
245 lb. Snatch
295 lb. Clean and Jerk
Yeah yeah yeah, Bodybuilding forum right? ![]()
1.BW 240+ (228-230 now)
2.OLY squat 315x10
3.300 atlas stonex5
4.17.5" arms (16.5 now)
My goal probably seems laughable to most around here, but I’m currently trying to get my weight up to 200 lbs. I’m currently sitting around 185 at 6’0. I just finished my first week of BBB (Thanks MODOK, Trav, and anyone else I pestered for advice!) and I have high hopes that I’ll be able to pack on some weight in the upcoming months.

I just creeped your pictures. You’ve made some nice gains! Excellent work.
I want to complete this 18 week run through BBB and then get some pictures up on here. I’ve got to tell you, T-Nation has been such an instrumental resource in helping me stop dicking around in the gym and actually start training with some smarts. Good luck to everyone with their goals. I look forward to hearing your success stories in a couple of months!

Those pics were after 9-10 months of training. I look pretty much the same just bigger now, a little fat, but it’s a means to an end.
Good luck man.
