Stop E-Warriors!

Oh, well then basically all posters on here should shut up. I mean, T-Nation authors have way more experience training themselves and others.
Most of the authors here barely look like they workout if they wear a tee-shirt with sleeves so how do they own the patent on experience? Do you even know the backgrounds or education levels of the people on this site…or have you simply assumed that the people in this thread telling you to take your head out of your ass are simply uneducated?

I’m getting a little tired of this attitude where posters on here act like that if you don’t get fat then you can’t get bigger. Not saying that your opinion is wrong or right but it is extremely annoying. First you start flaming Shugart. Then you flame laroyal. Today, Mike Roussell came out with an article saying the same thing.
Says the E-warrior without a single fucking picture, or even a stat, filled out in his profile.

I’ve been starting to notice this:

The guy who looks like he lifts goes to the guy who doesn’t for training…

I think you should start one in the politics forum.

Think about it though…gyms across the country have been helping that along as well. In the early 90’s, every single personal trainer in most gyms looked like they had competed before in bodybuilding. How developed I was is how I got my job as a personal trainer back then.

Now, you are lucky to see even one personal trainer in most gyms who even looks built at all. As a result, I guess people are now associating “knowledge” with…no muscle.

Does anyone have one of those bouncing boobs gifs? Please, post it!

Wow - you sound like you’re talking back to your mommy there.

What a dipshit. There should be a minimum age requirement to post on this site.

Glad I wasn’t the only surprised by those pictures.

There’s about one active author on this that I would even remotely think about getting advice on gaining muscle from. Take your guess.

Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding!!!

You should have stopped right there. The rest of your post just proves that my advice to you should have been listened to.

I wonder if the PX quote was meant like that. One can only be at their physical peak for so long; I don’t know if this applies in this case, but if you look at many of the olympic sports coaches this summer, they just look like old, washed up geezers. This is often due to injuries, or other prohibitive factors

Hey man, I think you have some really good points. Just because you’re not that experienced in lifting, doesn’t mean you can’t make more valid points than bigger more experienced people. After all, many of the writers for T-Nation are small LOL

Us mathematicians should stick together. There’s a guy in the “Rate My Physique” section who’s thinking along the same lines as you, it’s really interesting. He’s also a mathematician and against heavy bulking. Here you go:

If you think my post had something to do with how being good at math helps you train then you completely missed the point, which is what a lot of you are doing. I mentioned being in math classes two years ahead of where regular kids my age are and still being able to get A’s. It wasn’t about math, it was about intelligence.

I had to take intelligence classes to get where I am and I got the highest scores in my grade (graduate around 400 a year). Most of you guys take what I say and then try to prove it wrong by arguing about something different.

You can’t do an actual deadlift in most of the commercial gyms around my area without getting yelled at for making noise. They seem to all be going the ‘health club’ route for monetary reasons.

Yes, I’ve noticed this. And yet rest of these “trainers” continue to have clients.

Thibs and Berardi definitely look the part, IMO. In your opinion, are they credible sources of information?

I was interested in Thibs “Beast Building” program, but don’t know if it would be worth pursuing or not.

I woner if the PX quote was meant like that. One can only be at their physical peak for so long; I don’t know if this applies in this case, but many olympic/power lifting coaches look like old, out of shape geezers. Same goes for bodybuilders. Doesn’t stop them from training others well though!
Go look at current pictures of 62 year old Frank Zane, or the many over-60 bodybuilders competing in masters divisions…they prove what you said is just plain incorrect.

Danny John doesn’t. Dave Tate doesn’t, does he? My friend’s old man is damn near 70 and looks better from his training and he has a multi-level fusion in his back.

It wasn’t meant like that but I also understand why people respond that way. I personally would not go to someone who was not well developed for advice unless they were known for getting really big bodybuilders in shape and even bigger.

That does not seem to be the case here.

I’m not average and my goal is not average. It seems people like that aren’t even considered to be relevant on this site.

Trainers like Charles Glass may not be as big as they were when competing,…but they WERE and everyone knows it. That isn’t in the same ball park as someone who NEVER got big.

I would go to CT in a heart beat if my goal was to really get serious about competing. I don’t know that much about Berardi other than that I have never seen much I disagree with from him.

First off, no, you probably don’t know a lot about this particular subject.

Secondly, you started a thread telling “e-warriors” to “STFU.” The e-warriors in question happen to be those who disagree with T-Nation authors who seem to have little patience for those who disagree their views.

Thirdly, you actually thought your thread would put an end to all of this? Please…

Lol sorry…I’m not smart enough to what ‘intelligence classes’ are.
