Shoulder Injury?

Hey guys!

First time posting on the forum but i’m always lurking on the website. A month ago while doing shoulder dumbbell press i felt almost like a pinch sensation on my right shoulder, after that it didn’t quite hurt but it just didn’t feel right. When i was back at the gym, while doing arms, the shoulder was bothering me so i took the week off.

I came back the week after and everything was better but i still felt the shoulder bothering me. The curious thing about it is, that when i decided to do my shoulder routine i felt nothing, but when i was doing chest, specially bench press i had stop and also when i do back pulldowns. Anyways, while everything was better on the next week i still couldn’t nothing related to chest. so i decided to stop going.

I know that the best thing to do is going to a doctor, but right now i don’t have a medical insurance and also like i said before i don’t feel any pain in particular and i can go through the day.

Any advice on what this might be?
Any advice on what to do?

Thanks in advance!

My guess is rotator cuff, but honestly I’m not sure.

My advice would be to rest it and then minimize chest and shoulder work for awhile. Reassess after that. Work on getting medical insurance in the meantime. If anything serious happens to you, you’re in deep trouble.

Sound like rotator cuff…search ‘Shoulder Rehab’ on T-Nation & youtube.

What arm exercises were bothering your shoulder? If it were biceps exercises it could be a bit of your biceps tendon catching.

It could also be your rotator cuff but I’ve never heard that getting in the way of arm routines unless your doing pressing.
