Should I Bulk or Cut

Bulked for two months, fcked up, I think it was my intensity, I gain fat VERY BAD, it all goes to lovehandles/waist. Why? The different between the pictures is 3lb’s.

This is 3 weeks ago.

This is today, added an inch to my waist… wtf.

What??

What don’t you understand…? I asked if I should Cut due to the fat I put on my bulk cause of the lack of intensity during my workouts. Meaning… my excess calories went to fat stores instead of muscle repair.

Have you been lifting weights?

One would assume during a bulk, thats what you do.

Yes, but as stated TWICE, my intensity was not high enough to trigger muscle growth.

Ok, so then you answered your question of “why”. You put on too much fat because you weren’t intense enough. I put on fat easily on my stomach/chest but nowhere else when I bulk, I guess it’s just a genetic thing.

Now start working out properly.

SO a cut is NOT neccesary?

stats

Height: 5’8
Weight: 156
Neck: 14.5
Chest: 37
Arm: 12.5 (unflexed)
Forearm: 11
Quad: 20
Waist: 32
Hips: 33

LMFAO!!!

If you decide to cut, what exactly would you be cutting? you realise ‘to cut’ is in reference to the ‘cutting’ of muscle, of which you have none.

So easy anser really.

Seriously though dude, do notworry about that little bit of fat, I think you would do well to post your diet and training schedule in the begineers forum, with a better diet and training you will add your size in more appropriate places.

Dont take the first pic with your gut sucked in…and then the second with it hangin out…

Im just sayin :stuck_out_tongue:

It isnt. those pics were 3 weeks apart, thats why i started freaking out, i gained an entire inch.

Man, I would love to gain an entire INCH in three weeks.
Wait…what are we talking about again?

Funny…

  1. Train harder.
  2. Eat better.
  3. Clean your bathroom.

Whats the big deal man? As long as you know why you gained too much fat, then you can take steps to fix it.

If you’re ignorant about training/diet, then start reading more articles by Thibadeau and Berardi.

  1. Train Harder

More sets, more reps, more intensity. Diet is in sycn. Bathroom… I’ll see where my weightraining takes me then I’ll consider it =)

CUT open a BULK size bag of potatoes.

Just kidding…I seriously would bulk if I were you. But if you plan on hitting the beach this summer, go ahead and get shredded.

Thanks for all your input.

On those pictures, what was your diet like. I find it hard to believe that you would gain that much weight on your midsection if you diet was good. Were you eating Mcdonalds? I’d read up on a good bulking routine by CT or anyone else who looks like an Alpha Male. Wouldn’t worry about cutting just yet. Best of luck.
