Whats the big deal man? As long as you know why you gained too much fat, then you can take steps to fix it.
If you’re ignorant about training/diet, then start reading more articles by Thibadeau and Berardi.

Agreed. But I think you need to BULK. If your looking to put on mass. You gotta up your carb intake. See, you kinda got the same problem lots of teens have, they wanna put on mass, but when the see that there starting to loose all there ab definition, they start starving themselvs again. WDF. dont be afraid to put on a lil extra energy. Just make sure your working your ass off in the gym. The whole reason you bulk is so you can put on more MASS. Why would you wanna cut when you have NO MASS? Build the muscle…the sculpt it.

Thanks for resurrecting a GHEY thread…and double posting on it
hahahhaa wait, you’re saying you failed because you lacked intensity?? That’s not your diet’s fault…your training just sucks. You need to adopt the “Don’t be a Bitch” training method.
Do a lot more of everything your doing. And do a bunch of new things that you’re not doing. Hmm…
OK, so read a bunch of articles here and pick a routine and diet blah blah… BUT
MOST importantly, when you are in the gym, really really bust your ass. Let me ask you - How many times have you really sweat your ass off at the gym? Or come home with a new set of blisters on your palms? Or felt incredibly sore 24 hours after a workout? Or felt like puking on your way out because of how hard you hit your legs? Or eagerly raced home to slam a Surge, axiously awaiting its chocolatey goodness? These things should become a staple of your life.

you’re not very muscular, but not too skinny either. I think u could use a lil of both(bulking and cutting)[/quote]
A little bit of both? Thats a tad confusing.
With 12.5 inch arms he needs to bulk. However he does seem to put on fat very easily, so i’d make it a very clean bulk. There would be no point in him cutting at this stage.
You need to finish your bulking phase. Continue for another 9 weeks or so and then start cutting. If you think your getting too fat then cut back on calorie intake slightly. Dont be afraid to loose your abs for a few months.
It takes 2-3 MONTHS to put on 10# of muscle.
It takes 2-3 WEEKS to loose 10# of fat.
You know, a change that small doesn’t really mean anything…you could of just been bloated that week or something.
It’s like if you check your weight every other day and realize you “lost” a pound – hell, take a big chug of water, pick up your wallet or open the door to let a breeze in: the change is really insignificant.
Just eat for a couple months and stop looking in the mirror, then decide what you need to do. Don’t judge it based on a week-to-week basis unless it’s actually something of significance like dropping 50lbs on bench.
