Yes, for sure! I use it 30min prior to my workout and 20 min before the insulin. It helps your body absorb the carbs even better and allows the insulin to work more aggressively.

Post your diet and I can give you better advise, you might only have to cut your intraworkout carbs and add a protein meal but I need to see your diet and a picture to decide.

You’re welcome.

I do between 6 and 9 capsules of indigo. I have went as high as 6 capsules 2x/day in my offseason, I wouldn’t recommend it for most people because 6 is usually sufficient in most cases. Taking into consideration that I eat A LOT of food and take insulin.

But there is a time span of about 14-15 week apart. Or do you think, it would be wise to switch gears, and get into prep mode and do a show in November. There is a NQ one that is an hour away from my home. I would be stopping the good gains im getting now, but would give me more time to prep for Master Nationals next year (2015).

So it would be either 14-15 weeks difference or 7 1/2 month difference. My other thought was just to wait until the NPC schedule comes out in Dec/Jan and see if ther is anything around that time frame for Master Nats or North Americans. I think personally I can handle anything I put my body threw, its more financial than anything else. Thanks for your time and and thoughts

Seems like your off season is going great, you look a lot thicker and fuller than your previous pics. Bodyfat seems to be in range for the off season, good work so far!

It’s hard for me to give you an answer because it’s depends on the level of competition at the masters national show. If you don’t think size will be an issue and you’re big enough to stand with the guys there then by all means do the closer show and rebound for 3-4 week (you can make small gains in this time frame) then get back to your diet for nationals.

If you still think you have improvements to do in terms of size then I wouldn’t cut a successful off season just to do an earlier show. In this case I would wait for the schedule to come out and pick a qualifying show clots to nationals. The NPC always has close enough shows to the nationals so that you won’t have to diet twice.

Depends on the goal, I would go with either test and wintrol OR test and dbol. It will depend on the person.

  1. Is it better IM than subq, is a 1" slin pin enough to to im with if im is the case ?
  2. Is it true the cells mature after 6 months and you can get perma bloat from just 1-2mg of this?
  3. When to take it? Ive heard just as many say as pre-wo as post-wo, and everyone says diffrent in timing aswell!
  4. Bac water or aa? ppl who used it with bac and stored it in refrigirator says its all fine and aa is broscience!

Not questioning AT ALL what you said, just trying to understand some of the reasons behind so I can learn for future cycles:

  1. Why for other cycles here you recommended Nolva 20mg ed all the way through PCT whereas in my case its 20 on cycle and then 40/40/40/20/20

Well, I can’t actually acquire pics due to having no current ones and no way of taking them due to a broken cameraphone…However, I can give you an outline of my diet as of summer 2014.

Meal 1:
8 eggs
2 slices of toast
2 cups of apple sauce (not cups as in measurement but the cups that they come in)
Water or fruit juice

Meal 2:
Post-workout drink (Cellucor BCAA)
2 slices of bread

Meal 3:
2 scoops of Syntha-6
Met-Rx Big 100 chocolate chip cookie dough
2 cups of apple sauce

Meal 4:
Usually some sort of meat, it depends. It could be salmon or steak or chicken, depending on what’s available and what I’ve got.

Meal 5:
2 servings of Stouffer’s microwavable spaghetti

Meal 6:
2 scoops of Syntha-6
2 apples

switch the full eggs to egg whites

No fruit juice

Switch syntha-6 to MAG-10

You don’t need post workout drink, just drink Plazma during the workout (I know you’re on a budget so one scoop is better than nothing)

Meal 1
1 cup of oats
10 egg whites
1 tbsp almond butter

Meal 2
1.5’servings MAG-10

Meal 3 intraworkout
1 serving Plazma

Meal 4
1 cup rice
8oz lean steak or white fish

Meal 5
1 cup rice
8oz salmon

Meal 6
2 servings of MAG-10

This will be a good start, it will be a more balanced diet and probably cheaper for you. You can add any dark green leafy vegetables to the meals.[/quote]

I’m obviously not Shadow, but I can tell you that I’ve been doing my TRT with 0.5" slin pins in my delts and it works out great. Unless you have high body fat % you can do IM with 0.5" in your quads even.

I wouldn’t stay on it all the way to the show, it would kill your joints and libido completely.

I would probably pick option number 3 because you need antiestrogens leading up to the show.
Wait until the symtoms are going away significantly and taper down by going to every other day for a week and then jump onto the arimidex after the week of tapering down, you can start with 1mg but some people are going up to 2 or 3 even.

The idea is to allow the letrozole to do its work here and then go back to your normal antiestrogens.

First of all, I don’t believe that there’s a lot of real igf-1 going around unless you are getting it from a pharmacy. You really need to research what you’re getting before injecting a foreign into your body.

  1. Depending on your bodyfat level and where you’re injecting, a .5-1" pin can work fine for IM.

  2. I highly doubt it.

  3. You should take it post workout to the muscle you just worked. Take an ice pack with you to the gym and do it immediately post workout.

  4. I have mixed it with both, the aa burns like hell and I didn’t notice any significant differences in either of them. I doubt it was actually igf-1.

  1. Done as a precaution, some people are more sensitive than others and a more aggressive pct will ensure that you completely recover.

  2. Yes

  3. Take the clomid and nolvadex at different times in the HCG, take one in the AM and one in the PM. HCG can be done at anytime.

  4. I like to keep it after the cycle to make sure you’re 100% functional. Some sort of shut down will happen during your cycle for most people… Your body will not be producing 100% of it’s natural test so continuing the HCG after will allow it to recover completely. As you can see, it’s not a blast dose it’s just slightly higher than what you did during the cycle.

Depends how sick I am, if I’m not completely out of it I’ll get out and train but if it’s really bad I’ll sit out a day or two. I don’t get sick very often… MAG-10, vitamin-C and superfood does wonders for the immune system.

Got a supplement related question for you.
My gym results in the last couple of years have been rather poor and I feel that a big reason is my lack of proper peri workout supplementation. I am here to learn and was hoping you could just outline for me and others who also don’t understand this concept entirely, what one should be taking, when and why?

I know you hold the Biotest products in high esteem but trust me, if I had to import these products to South Africa (with the shit exchange rate here) I am gonna have to get a second job just for my supplement costs.
I was hoping you could give a “non-branded” type description of what a person should be buying and using in that pre - during workout - and post workout window.

So for example say you need a whey protein product but go for an isolate and use it say post workout along with .??..something like that.

Then I can take that info and head down to a local supplement retailer and see what I can get that closely matches your description to sort out my peri workout supplement needs?
I also would like to know how supplements like creatine and L-Glutamine play a role here. (I noticed the other day that you get all these different types of creatine on the market, is mono still the most effective choice?)
