BRING ON THE QUESTIONS GUYS & GIRLS!
Thx for answering our questions and being there for us. Im always coming up with new questions, ill try my best with my english, lol:
what was the highest number of iu’s from GH you took/ how much can u tolerate? is there a limit for you?
how many cheatmeals do u eat in offseason and whats the best timing for them? Pre/ postworkout? On offdays?
do u think u will taking test for the rest of your life, even after ur career?
ive read all ur threads. You said something like at your first olympia you was broke as fuck… Was there a time when u said: id rather spend my last cent on food/gh/gear than on clothes/ a nice appartement or other stuff? Im asking this because i realized, in my case id rather buy another gh kit at the pharmacy instead having expensive clothes or something. so when i set my priorites bodybuilding will always be number 1.
did u ever had some problems control yourself being on high doses of tren/ halotestin?
There was a time when i was on test only (about 400-500mg a week) and i had some serious troubles. With time i learned how
To control myself and even with tren im very chilled now. I heard some crazy stories from others while being on tren and i never had that agression problems…
thank you :-)))
I’m new on this site. I’m old…49…lol Here is my question. In my youth…late teens to early 20’s I used juice. Deca, Win V, Dianabol, mostly with some metandrin. End result…I had results…good ones howoever I also ended up with Gyno, surgery and that was the end of my juicing days.
Fast forward almost 30 yrs and I have been working out steady again for about 3 yrs, have good solid foundation at 5’7" 202 lbs with 12% body fat. I am thinking of doing a nice simple cycle of test to see how I react to it and go from there. Not looking to compete. I just want to see what gains are there for me.
So here is my question. I had no knowledge of PCT or even know if they existed in my pre internet days of juice experimentation. What should I take as a PCT, What should I use as an estrogen blocker, what dosage and how should I take it. I have had all my bloods done, everything is normal range for my age with a slightly high but in the normal range level of DHT.
Again I’m old…be nice. lol
Thanks in advance.
I have a question regarding progession in dieting.
I have been dieting now for just over 10 weeks losing roughly 1lb a week with under 8 weeks to go. (Start weight 199lbs down to 190lbs) calories and macros are as follows; weight training days (4days) 2700ishkcals @ 260g Pro, 270g Carbs, 60g Fats. Non weight trainings days 2100ish kcals minus intra workout nutrition @ 230g Pro, 130g Carbs, 60g Fats.
Cardio is performed on off days and stands at LISS cardio @ 25 mins twice and one condition workout of tyre sledge hammers/ flipping and farmers walks for around 30 minutes.
I am currently running a cycle consisting of;
700mg test cyp
360mg tri tren
1mg Arimidex EOD
Just started as of today 40mcg Clenbuterol planning to run for 2 weeks on 2 weeks off with you imbibe hcl ran on my off weeks from clen.
The reason for these esters is that I plan on ending me cycle on the 24th July as I am away for 2 weeks and plan on running my PCT once I am back. Advice on the PCT would be really helpful Lol.
My real question is to what move to make next whether it be to cut calories, if so what macro, increase calorie expenditure in the form of cardio or additional weight training? There’s so many ways to go about it and I’m starting to over analyse things so I just need a nudge in the right direction please lol. At the minute the only session I’m still sore a couple of days after is quads and hams, everything else I’m good to go. Chest, back, delts, quads and hams are once per week, biceps and triceps twice a week and calves 3 times a week. If you was to add in a 2nd workout for a body part how would you set up your calories? Would you add "workout cals and macros or keep “non workout cals” and maybe add in some amino’so or bcaa’s to keep weekly kcals the same and get the fat loss through expenditure?
Thanks in advance Pro.
Il add some photos so you can guage where I’m at and where I started.
what was your weight when u started taking gear and how fast did you gain weight after you started?
did you find certain compounds made your weight spike while other did not?
also how much lean mass have you attained in total from then until now?, just curious

Highest I ever used was 18iu per day. I could probably handle 24 if I really wanted to but it definitely has it’s side effects and puts a real hole in the wallet.
1-2 cheat meals in the off season, I try to stay lean year round. If my body fat is at an acceptable level I might do 2 in a week and it would usually land on off training days.
Yes, most likely.
I have been through some very low points during my bodybuilding career and I spent every dollar I had on food, gear and GH. I could probably own a few more nice houses with all the money I’ve used on GH. I don’t see a problem with how you see things because I started as a young bodybuilder with a dream to become the best and I did the same thing. I put bodybuilding before everything else in my life. You also need to be realistic about your chances to turn pro and have successful career in bodybuilding. You need to take into consideration how your physique really looks and not just listen to your friends tell you that you look great… Look at the current top athletes at your level and see how you compare to them. Make sure your training, diet and overall knowledge is on point and that you keep learning everyday. Steroids are just the icing on the cake, you’ve got to put in the work first and foremost.
When I was younger tren and halo definitely had their consequences on my behavior. But like you, I learned to control it very quickly and even though it still effects my feelings and state of mind (like ANYONE who will use them because they have a very strong mental effect) I will never take it out on other people. You have to remember it’s a choice you’re making and it’s not other peoples fault that you feel like a raging asshole.
You’re very welcome. Great post.

Welcome to the forum.
Here’s what I recommend: (we’ll keep it nice and simple)
12 weeks -
Test-E @ 500mg/week
Nolvadex @ 10-20mg/day (start with 10 and bump it up if you need to)
HCG @ 250iu 2x/week (start at week 2)
After the cycle keep nolvadex in for 4 weeks @ 40/40/20/20 and add 2 full bottles of AlphaMale (1.5-2x the recommended dose each day until the bottle are finished)
Get blood tests after you finish to check where your test level is at.

It’s hard to me to give you a precise answer about the nutrition without knowing your body. From what you told me my first thought is that you need to lower the carbs and fat. Also, adding a bit of cardio won’t hurt since the goal is to get lean.
If your main goal is to get leaner I wouldn’t even think about adding calories at this point, there’s just too many calories in general even with an extra training day.
For the cycle you are taking I would expect to see more muscle and less fat. I’m not sure how your intensity looks in your training but I’m going to guess that it can be much higher. Sometimes you need to analyze less and just work harder on the simple things… Lower carbs, increase cardio, kick some ass in the gym.

I can’t remember my weight from so many years ago… I barely remember last week! However, I do recall jumping about 20lbs in my first cycle.
Long esters like deca and test make your weight jump up fast but this doesn’t mean you’re gaining more muscle. Usually an immediate jump in weight is due to excess water retention.
Hard to say how much I’ve gained but clearly a lot. Any pro bodybuilder has put on a sick amount of muscle mass since they started.

thank you very much shadow. everytime im asking questions, im excited and looking forward to your answer! Itâ??s always the first thing i do in the morning lol. thats why im coming up with some new ones:
what would you say, is the “biggest” side-effect for you being on gear? not only the visible “physical” side effects like acne or water retention or anything like that. example: for me it would be being horny all day. being in a relationship with a libido like i have myself, makes it hard to decline other womens lol. other example: sweating. im sweating while typing this, lol.
is there any compound you tried and you said to yourself “i will never use it again” because you didnt like it?
do u noticed a difference in having sex since ur huge as fuck ? do u noticed that you get more or less girls ? where i live most womens would like more the â??mens-physiqueâ?? type of body, lol. But the girls in the industry will probably love to have sex with a pro bodybuilder
Whats your favourite shoe brand? I travelled all around the world (Venice, Las Vegas → Mr. Olympia, All big Expos etc.) and i noticed almost all bodybuilders wearing jordans. First thing i did when i realized this, i saved money for my first pair of jordans, lol
How many hours do u sleep at night and how many naps do u take? I usually sleep 6hrs at night and taking a nap for 1hrs after work.
Just for fun, even if it makes no logical sense: If u had to pick only 1 carb source, 1 fat source and 1 protein source for the rest of your life, what would it be? For me it would look like this: carb: white rice, fat: avocado oil and protein: eggwhites
Do u take some enzymes for better digestion ?
Is it ok to take T4 while being on GH ? iâ??ve read some articles that said it would be good to take T4 while taking high doses of GH.
Thank you very much again. I appreciate your time and effort. its great to have you here. it means a lot for me!
Thanks for the response. Yes that is nice and simple. I appreciate it. Question on the HCG though. What exactly does it do during the cycle? I’m doing some reading now however figured I may as well ask since we’re here.
Thanks again.

Not really any bad side effects for me. After years of use I’ve learned to combat them with proper supplementation and intelligent cycle planning. My libido, mood and blood tests are always pretty good. As long as you’re doing things correctly you can avoid most of these things.
Not really. I like certain compounds more than others but there’s nothing I’d say that I’ll never use again.
Let’s just say being a pro bodybuilder has it’s perks.
Jordan’s just fit our big/wide feet better.
8 hours at night and a 2 hour nap.
Protein - steak
Carbs - white rice
Fat - cashew butter
Yes
I prefer t3 but t4 can work as well. Not to be taken all the time while you’re on GH, only while cutting.
You’re welcome.

It keeps your natural production of testosterone running while you are using an “outside” testosterone source… Basically keeps yours balls functioning properly. It’s better to take it during the cycle and possibly a little bit post cycle rather than just using it after to try to fix a problem you create.
Hi Shadow, awesome thread that you have going here in this forum. Keep up the good work, I love your expertise and opinion!
I was hoping I could take a little of your time, so that you can elaborate a bit on a subject for me. My bf and his buddies are ALWAYS harping about this, and giving me a hard time when this subject comes up, but now that I have found YOU - a professional with experience AND insight from within pro bodybuilding - perhaps you can finally stop the endless bashing and debating.
Long story short, this is about what a typical (pro) bodybuilder’s diet, in regards to how one eats during the on and off season. Since I’ve read many of your older posts, I know that you are someone who takes an intelligent and scientific approach, paying close attention to how things work best for you with regards to diet, while taking his health, diet, pre and peri-workout nutrition very seriously (I’m a fan of this mindset!). Likewise, I also see that you follow a nutritious, clean and healthy diet year round, and that’s what I have relayed to my bf and his bros.
The response I get from him when I tell him this, however, is “go read Muscle & Fiction, pros DON’T really eat that way!” He goes on to say that the garbage that’s in most magazines is pure ghost writer bull****, and that all these pictures of huge bodybuilders eating chicken breasts, broccoli, oatmeal and such are pure nonsense, that the purpose of this is strictly just to sell what he calls “an imaginary and make believe healthy lifestyle”, in order to sell worthless supplements to gullible teenagers.
His contention is that most pros eat tons of fast food, refined carbs and other less than healthy table fare, especially in the off season when they are bulking up, simply because all the gear they take (he and his friends use it too) requires a huge amount of calories that clean food just doesn’t provide, and cannot be consumed in sufficient amounts for one to make progress. He references the Firehouse Restaurant in Venice (“go look how the bodybuilder’s in there eat!”), mentions Lee Priest and his pre show ten candy bar carb up (“have you seen pictures of this guy in the off season? He even eats lots of donuts, McDonald’s and KFC when he’s bulking!”) and even cites Ronnie Coleman and his consumption at a show he once met him at (“This mamaluke was eating fast food and hamburgers, one after the other at this expo, did they mention that in Muscle & Fiction???”). He shows me grotesque pictures of bloated and red faced off season bodybuilders and asks, “do you think they look that way from egg whites and multivitamins, or mountains of buffet food and Mexican supplements?” Simply put, he believes that I’m totally naïve on the subject, and that I’m drinking the Koolaid these mags are printing. I don’t believe that’s the case, however.
Equally annoying is his insistency that pros don’t “waste their time with supplements they pimp”, and if they had extra money to spend, “it’s going to buying more tren and deca, not vitamin and mineral supplements, which many completely don’t bother with anyway”. Your thoughts?
I know different things work for different people, and that there are variations in one pro’s diet to the next, but once and for all, is there really 100% truth to what he says, or are these examples simply isolated cases of certain pro bodybuilders?

Sounds to me like your boyfriend is looking for the easy way out. 90% of the pro bodybuilders eat clean year round. The amount of cheat meals obviously vary and the style of their diets will be different but anyone who strives to obtain a quality physique will need to fuel it with quality food.
If you choose to ignore the fact that certain supplements (not juice) can help your health, recovery, food absorption and many other things it’s just plain ignorant. All bodybuilders use supplements. There is a lot of science behind supplement use and if health is important then I would highly advise using them. Obviously there are some companies that sell complete crap but if you do your research you can find the quality products.
What he’s telling you is complete crap and this is not true. Don’t believe everything you hear unless it’s from the true source.
Hi,
How do you rate proviron pre comp to harden you up, how long should it be taken, and at what dosage?
Thnaks you.
Thanks for the Info. Much Appreciated.
