I couldn’t wait to get busy on some high rep work. Plan was to do some bodybuilding type training after my competition and work on weak points, but one workout last week of sets of 15 had me scratching my head and asking myself why, why, why. I don’t know if it makes us pussies…I kinda think when/why would I have to pick up something really heavy 10-12 times in real life…and then again who is impressed when you say you can bench X 10 times? I find it more impressive to say your 1 rep max.

Really need to get an air conditioner in my garage as it’s hot as hot. Not sure how GV can handle it in FLA. Oh yeah…he’s tough…I’m a baby.

Not so tough it’s just that in my garage the sun isn’t kicking my ass like it does all day at work and that’s huge difference. I do use a fan which gives me awesome relief. I think if I used an air conditioner I would freeze. By the way I don’t use my truck air conditioner while I’m driving between jobs because I’m so wet with perspiration I feel it would make me sick. So, lifting for an hour or two in the shade of my garage with a fan is like heaven compared to work and then I walk into my house (air conditioning is on) and it feels like I ate a peppermint paddy.
