Meet is on 4/20…I’ve got a mini-junio-smolov for bench and squat going until 4/13…week before I’ll do some max attempts to see where I’m at:

Nyuck…did get my knife and gloves…shucked 3 dozen a couple weeks ago…in typical Sen fashion the fishmonger wench has a crush on me so she gave me an extra dozen…ended up throwing them out and have been feeling bad about it, but it’s a lot of fookin’ work!

I’m daydreaming for:
Squat: 325/345/375
Bench: 300/325/345
Dead: 415/445/475
Total 1195 if I hit them all…which would actually be 153 lbs greater than my last meet…which makes me wonder if I’m insane, or just pansied out last meet…leaning towards the former…but not opposed to believing the latter.

Your squat has really improved, insanity has its place, I think you can do it

Because 20 years ago I was positive I’d make the NFL (along with all the other guys on my HS Football team) if we had a kick-ass bench. I spent 3-5 days in the gym hitting my chest with no lower body work…guess old habits die hard
I’m weighing about 192 at the moment…feeling good except my right groin…shoulders are starting to get cranky, but feeling really strong…squat is feeling good with more emphasis placed on proper set-up straight from unracking the bar and not grunting

I went 9/9 my first meet and 8/9 my second. Yay me.
