Today I tried reverse grip bench press. During the movement I felt pain in my lateral delts. I’m not sure whether it was pain in the muscles or pain in the joint. I would be very happy if it was the muscles because it is very hard for me to develop any deltoid strengths using current exercises. But if it was joint pain they I will have to replace this exercise with something else. So my question is if it is normal to feel pain in lateral deltoids during this exercise or I should change the exercise?
Was it a pinching pain?
