Question re: Meal/nutrient planning. Carbs late at night?

The way my lifestyle is currently oriented, I have a mostly boring, chair piloting day at school until about 3:30, when baseball practice starts. I usually get home around 7, eat some, lift, which gets done around 9, eat some more, sleep.

How should I be planning my day in terms of P+F and P+C? It seems to me that I should be taking in my PF early in the day, in a 2nd, 3rd, 4th meal situation, with PC around my exercise and in the morning, in a 1st, 5th, 6th, 7th setup, ending the night with a PC meal as opposed to PF. Any objections/comments on this? What sorts of carbs should be consumed PWO late at night?

Most people recommend a P+f before bedtime but if u r bulking it may be best to have a p+C, especially if you train in the evening and the time you go to sleep falls within the 6 hours of having trained. I train 18.00-19.00 and my last meal is at 11.15pm. If you train earlier then it maybe best to have a p+f.

Carbs in the morning is a good idea, some carbs 1-1.5 hours before training, and obviously post workout and the meal immediately after. That gives u 4 meals with P+C, You could have the remaining 3 as p+f or have another one more p+c, although i would suggest looking at your carb requirements based on something like the massive eating formula and then split it up.

hope this helps

ooops i never really answered ur question the carbs i have at night are, surge PWO, and sweet potatoes with chicken and before i go to sleep i have low fat cottage cheese with pineapple.

Bump for a less anecdotally based answer…
