I had leg day today, and I’m sure I’ll be hurting in the morning. On the upshot, the 60 minute walk should help alleviate some of the DOMS.
Yeah I saw your routine, and it looked rough (in a good way). Glad you made it through the workout. Stay strong.[/quote]
Thanks dude, I appreciate it. I’m off to get some sleep. I’ve got two total hours of cardio tomorrow.
Have you noticed an acclimation period, to get used to very low carbs. I am attempting a very low carb esque diet, similar to yours(no free Biotest supps though;) ) and did my first day yesterday
I feel more alert, but kinda a constant drain as well
I’ve been reading all the guy’s clinic threads but I enjoy yours the best. I think you’re going to look amazing when you’re done. Just wanted to pop in and offer a little bit of support.

Yeah, and I’m turning my jealously to fuel my own fire. He definitely deserved the pick though.
In terms of acclimation to the low carbs, I did notice it, but I’ve done low carbing before for a short period of time, so I knew what I was getting into.
As serious as this all is, I still have to take the time to not be so serious, so I watched SuperBad last night. If any of you haven’t seen it, rush out and go rent it ASAP.

Cool. I rented it last night and plan on watching it tonight after my last final exam.
Felt good today, the cardio is helping tremendously. Even in the future when bulking, I’m also going to include a good amount of cardio, just to stave off fat gain. I also just feel better in the past ten days.
Just wanted to check in. I didn’t get alot of sleep last night, but got my cardio in this morning. I’ll be back later tonight after blogging about my training and nutrition.
Great stuff man, definitely trying to kinda keep up with you diet and cardio wise. Big inspiration…
I’m always surprised no one mentions ‘Meshuggah’ for music around here, unless I’ve missed it…
These guys use 8 string guitars, so they are absolutely brutally low. But not low and sloppy, this is low, synchronized bone crushing. The vocalist sounds like a shrieking wraith in hell. The music is sort of abstract at times, only in the sense that it doesn’t use as much classical/metallica/etc type riffs, they can be a bit simplistic in their riffs- at first notice. I’m a musician, so I could go on and on about these guys and their unique position in metal. Alas… albums by them to get into
Thanks for the suggestion on Meshuggah, I’ll check those songs out. I’m off to train, I’ll post again in a bit. Just heard a fun song on the Comcast Arena Rock Channel, “Slide It In” by Whitesnake. Not on a playlist during training, but I’m a huge 80’s metal fan.
Good inspirational music

Hey Greg, how is the diet coming along? Is the diet still keeping you full with all the healthy fats? And are you losing any weight or bodyfat, or does CT want you to keep it under wraps?
Hey Tmoney1,
Everything is coming along well. I haven’t stepped on the scale lately, but overall I feel I’m starting to look leaner, but I have a ways to go obviously. The diet is fine, but I’ll sure be relieved when I can eventually start to add in some healthy carbs again.

Looks like you are lifting Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thurs, Friday.
Those days include an early morning walk and post-lifting 45 minutes of cardio.
How long after the lifting do you do the cardio? Or do you head back to the gym at night to do it?
Looks like Wed and Saturday are cardio only days. Walk in the morning, 60 mins of cardio later.
Is this all correct?

Hey man,
You’ve got it, just that on my leg day the cardio is only 30 minutes after weight training. After lifting, I go right into my cardio.
