Greg, just keep it up. You and I both know what you are doing and I think you are doing great.
Hello novaGreg! How is life under a microscope?
Kit~
Greg you know I’m one of your biggest fans and the first to jump on the negative people but I have to agree with everyone else. You know it ain’t true so now just let it go. Most negative people will have something to say bad about anyone. You can get to 8% BF and some clown is going to say you Lats aren’t big enough or your right arm isn’t symmetrical or you shouldn’t be curling in the squat rack…(lol) You know your on track and owning it right now, just keep doing the thing.
CT & Shugs thanks for helping get Greg in gear. Great work and I do mean work, you two could have joined the blame game and quit on him too but you didn’t. It is a great team effort!
Hey there!
Good job on the inches and the weightloss!
You like alot of inches dont you October ?
Nova, i know youre working your ass off out there, but i gotta say, i think 28 days of the V-Diet would be a great idea for you.
You saw what it did for Gus, and i think you might even have more muscle on you, it just needs to be stripped off, and maybe instead of the chisel that you’ve been using, you just need a dose of TNT first, then you can go back to the chisel.
No matter what they decide to go with, best of luck.
Agreed 100% I don’t care how fat you are when you start a diet, 30lbs should really be noticeable and lead to a drastically different look and I don’t see it.
Plus, I’m a little troubled by the recent ‘‘losses’’ of only 1lbs per week for 2-3 weeks. Bartl is doing the same diet and is actually doing less weight training (but is a bit more active) and he is still losing 5-6lbs+ per week despite losing around 60lbs so far.
Something just seems off.
Thank God, CT, for saying something’s up…there’s so many circle jerkers on here who don’t seem to be smart enough to figure out that none of this makes sense. That visceral fat excuse is so lame. Are we supposed to believe he lost 30 lbs. of visceral fat, and that it’s simply unnoticealbe? At some point, the body is gonna figure it has enough fat to insulate and protect the organs and start storing it as subquetaneous. Was some of it visceral? No doubt, but to use that excuse is a big stretch.
Another point people make is he was just coming off of losing a lot of weight…SOOO? Look how much progress he had to make. You’re talking about a guy who is clinically obese, not somebody who just dieted down to 10%, and the goings getting a little tougher. He could’ve lost that much weight strictly off his improved diet, not even making mention of the fact he’s doing 1 and sometimes 2 hours of cardio and lifting a day.
Also, Nova is 6’1’’ and by looking at his pictures his is not 237, just my opinion. He’s simply too big considering the fat he visually has, provided he has any kind of underlying muscle tissue, at all. Additionally, I thought he was supposed to be posting a picture of the scale displaying his weight, along with his poses…guess he forgot. Props to the coaches for not just trying to stroke his ego, like a lot of these sheep, and call it like you see it.
Wow. Time for the V-Diet huh? You can do it Greg, just keep training your ass off man.
Nova,
I dropped about 25 lbs the last few months. Most of the comments that I received were to the tune of “I can see it in your face…your face is thinner”. Maybe adding some face pics to your progress pics might help show your progress… just a thought.
I am going to aree with what listerfan is saying. I am 6’4 and 231 lbs, my pics are in profile, we are way way different. Unless you have very little muscle to fat ratio, you look more like 250+ to me…
Just my two cc’s
Greg
I’ve silently gone through your Clinic and had the same thoughts as others had…I don’t know you so it’s not my place to judge, in spite of where we are. But since the coaches have decided to put you on the V-Diet, we now have something in common besides our desire to improve our looks and health.
There are literally hundreds of V-Dieters on this site. They are all supportive and a wealth of information. In the end, the diet will change you, I have absolutely no doubt about that. The changes you’ll see will be very motivating and will help push you further.
In any case, I recommend reading the various v-diet threads and get an idea of what to expect…good luck, no matter what is said here, I don’t believe anyone wants you to fail at this clinic.
I do see some difference, not a lot, but there is some.

Here’s the thing - I believe in giving everyone the benefit of the doubt. If Greg has something going on physiologically that’s causing his fat loss to be extremely slow, then giving him crap will not help him and will just bring him down even more. If it turns out that he isn’t complying with the program, well, that’s for those in charge of the forum to figure out.
Here’a another thing - CT is a very experienced coach and I believe he can tell when someone is a bullshit artist, even over the Internet. If CT didn’t think Greg was complying with the plan, he would’ve dumped him long ago. I defer to CT’s judgment on this. The fact that Greg’s still here means he has been compliant and something is just “off” with his body.
I lose nothing by supporting Greg other than being called a “sheep” by some Internet asshole. What I gain is a potential supporter should I decide to apply for the Physique Clinic and be lucky enough to get selected.

Thanks Mike, and even if you don’t get selected, you’ve got a supporter and a friend right here.

Look what you went and did, Nova. You made Coach roll out with the crane and wrecking ball, which is either good news or bad news for you, but I’m 100% sure its good news with all the support you have from people on this site. I haven’t heard of the V-Diet failing anyone who gave it an honest shot, so I foresee nothing but awesome results in your future. Forget all of the haters, because in just one short month they’ll certainly change their tune…but incase they dont, refer them to the picture above!
Hey Greg, you excited about trying the V-Diet? I think that will be a good change for you. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt and I trust you are doing everything in your power to succeed.
And like everyone else said, don’t worry about the haters. For every one hater, you have 100 supporters.
Keep it up big homie!
Be excited, I loved the V-Diet! I always look forward to my night shake which I always blend w/ 8-9 cubes so it’s like ice cream.
Invest in :
Crystal light flavors, coconut extract, peppermint extract, a GOOD blender (you don’t want big ol’ chunks of ice in your shake)
I’m super excited to see you progress to new levels!

Haha, yo man, thanks for the support. I’m a huge DX fan, good stuff! Great job on your pre-clinic by the way, I’ve been following your thread.
