Just a suggestion but i wonder if CT would consider you for some interval training for the cardio that you do, i know you listen to music etc but it must get very boring and same thing different day kinda thing!
Why not set a goal like go so many miles in a week or a day for ur cardio a “Around the world with NovaGregg” type thing where u do like a triathlon in the gym yourself with the epp, bike, rower etc and record your RPMs and distances travelled etc!
I feel its vital to keep objective markers as continuous training and CV can have good days and bad days, at least when doing CV you will know when its one of those days that you just gotta put the head down.
Or do you use objective markers already?
A less intense interval pacing might be a increase in metabolism that you require!
best of luck! Hope you consider noting some markers in your threads for your cardio!
Hey Greg, just want to let you know that my older brother has a similar challenge like yours and I see first hand just how damn difficult it can be. Your gains have been tremendous and you should be proud of how far you have come.
Your progress is picking up some serious speed and I’m looking forward to seeing how you turn out. With your size, you are going to show up with more muscle than most people realize. Keep up the great work man!

Thanks man, I appreciate the support. Great fucking job on all your progress too, definitely inspiring!
not that I like or dislike it. just amazed. well, everyone else can stroke your ego, but it reminds of the emperor wears no clothes or in this case, the emperor hasnt lost weight. take a pic of yourself on a scale and then i will stfu.

Good to see your making a name for yourself on the forums on my thread. Why don’t you post some fucking pics and your progress for everyone to see, and get the fuck off my thread.
Are you going to respond to every little limpdick whose only 2-3 posts are on YOUR thread with the sole purpose of berating you? There are others cheering you on, and you clearly look better in your after pics, and you have some experienced guys guiding your progress. Relax and focus on the positives.
You’ve clearly dropped weight, maintained strength and LBM, improved cardiovascular condition and have expert backing. Also your upper back looks a good bit wider with the training youre undergoing. YOU have a TON more muscle than ALL of the halfwits bringing you down.,…spend a few months being insulted and come out big AND ripped while the detractors look exactly the same as they do now. YOu know the end result of this…you just don;t know exactly how long it will take. Fair trade in my opinion. Thats life :))
BTW I suspect you’re losing visceral fat which does not lend itself to a spectacular visual difefrence, and the next 10-15 pounds you drop will be visually dramatic. BUt don;t hold your breath…keep on trucking on, its your life, you’re in charge of what happens with it.
Try to get some better pictures for the coaches’ sakes. It will silence more than a few critics.

Thanks for the reinforcement man, I very much appreciate it.
Nice progress Greg! Your work is definitely paying off in your pics, especially in your back, it’s HUGE, especially your upper back. You’re gonna have a SICK V-taper in no time, gonna look like Gus.
i have been reading the clinic since it started to many people are thinking listerfan and other critics are being mean but what they need to realize is sometimes you need some one to nut up and say what every one is really thinking. i have been training clients for some time now and i can tell who is listening to me and who is not. some times you need negative reinforcement to shock you into doing what your suppose to be doing.
I read all the people giving greg shit about not losing weight, and was expecting to see a complete train wreck when I looked at his last set of pictures. Instead I see someone who has manifestly lost a lot of weight, largely fat, and should maybe get a decent camera.
Keep at it man, you’re doing well and you’re going to keep doing well. To do my part for motivation, every time I see you responding to some limp-dicked cretin trying to make you feel bad, I’m going to call you a sissy to remind you that real men don’t give a shit what internet morons think.

I agree. At first I was a bit disappointed and even mad at him for making me look bad! I was sure that he wasn’t following the plan. Even when he started to lose weight (he did lose more than 20lbs) he didn’t look like he was changing drastically. But the thing is that he has the body type that will only look very good when he will be at around 10-12% body fat. I am, believe it or not, the same way and this is the reason why I stopped several diets in the past.
Anything over 12% and I look like shit because of my body structure and the way my body stores fat.
So far I really do think that Greg’s progress is better than we (and I am included myself in this) gave him credit for.

wow wow WOW. did CT just tell you to add squat rack curls to your program?!
my whole world is turning upside down…[/quote]
There is a BIG difference between performing regular curls in the squat rack; and using the power rack to be able to do partial curls from a static start.
Hey Novagreg - just wanted to drop in and say that you’re transformation has been really inspiring, especially considering all the progress you made even before the Physique Clinic. Keep up the hard work!
