Every time I do dips, I have this horrible pain on my sternum. It really sucks because I can dip a lot of weight attached to me, but I have to cut my sets short because of the pain in my chest. Does anyone know what I should do? Thanks.
I had that happen to me when I was doing bodyweight dips (around 300 a day). I figured that it was just a tear, gave the dips a rest for a week or two, and did pec excercises that didn’t cause pain. After the rest period, I never had the problem again.
