Well, finally my workouts are starting to recover after a couple week slump.
OHP: 6 x 3 x 70kg
Also, lately I’ve noticed that I’m getting close to achieving my physique goals (basically in the male stripper - physique range). I am aware that I still have a few clear weak points (chest, rear delts) and a few more things I could work on to really polish my physique (tris, mid delt, lat width, quad sweep, reduce BF), but my overall balance seems to have improved leaps and bounds lately, and I’m quite happy with that.

Well today I front squatted for the first time in over a year, and I learned that I never really possessed the mobility to do the clean grip style properly. Got 105kg x 8.

The other day I squatted 225lbs for 20 without a belt. And yesterday I did 235 for 20 with a belt, easy. So I’m going to start working my way up and getting as many reps as possible before I hit a 3-5 RM. I haven’t maxed on squats in a long time so I don’t have a clue what it could be.
I also benched 205 lbs for a 5RM two days ago.
Update: Squatted 255 for 20 today. Will attempt 275 for 16-18 next leg day. These are already huge PRs for me so far.
Went up to 275 today, managed to get 15. Will got to 295 next leg day and go for max reps. Aiming for 12.
Squat: 150kg 9months post surgery I hit a lifetime squat PR.
Clean and jerk: 110kg. This is a training PR that I assume I would hit more in competition
21 years old @ 225lbs Low bar squat 210kg x 2, bench 120kg x 2 paused and flat footed, deadlift 222.5kg x 2
While training squats and bench today I hit my previous mock meet PRs for doubles, so I decided to do the same on deadlift. That was pretty much a default PR since I don’t remember my last double, and it meant that I hit my PR total with doubles instead of singles, which is kind of cool.
First ever 3 plate bench on Saturday, paused 140kg (308lbs). Bench has been a struggle for a while with my lanky arms but feel like it’s starting to get okay’ish. And MaazerSmiit you’re really smashing the squats man, swear we were the same a while back
