Had an awesome couple workouts this past week.
FINALLY freaking hit 315 w/ squats. Once I just hyped myself out of my mind, slapped myself up a little and committed it went up like 285 did two workouts before. Felt awesome
DB curls 40’s for 3X8, and 45’s for 3X6 the next workout. Skullcrushers 90 for 8, 80 for 16.
And on top of all that shit finally got my first 300 on the APFT, that was pretty cool.
Shoulder Press: 125lbs (57kg) for 5x5
Weighted chins: 7 x 20kg (@89.5kg BW)
Deficit (approx 2") deadlift: 5 x 185kg (no belt), and pulled a single (belted) at 200kg for fun after my work sets.
Snatch: 77.5kg
Total: 177.5kg
Back Squat: 147.5kg
Seated DB press: 60lbs x 9
DB Rows: 110lbs x 15
Also, a funny little marker of progress. Several people so far have asked me if I’m juicing. Recently, someone straight up asked WHAT I’m taking. Haha if that’s not an indicator of progress I don’t know what is.
500 for 2 sets of 7- second set is video. This is a 2 rep PR and I have never pulled 500 for 5+ in more than one set.

I’m up to 80lbs for 3 x 12 standing BTN presses.
Bar goes down to my ears, and doesn’t get locked out. Really just a weighted wall-slide. Shoulders aren’t 100% yet, but not getting worse.
These are working really well, supersetted with curls.

465lbs squat. That’s a 50lb PR. I just finished the smolov base mesocycle. I feel like it’s a strong result, so I’m going to finish the smolov cycle. I did gain about 13lbs over the last month, but 50lbs on my squat is still pretty good.
