Anyway when I found out Nera lives only a couple hour’s from me, I emailed him, and he’s been real suportive, and giving me good training info, I’m going to go up and train with him this summer, when I get a chance. I mention this for a couple reasons, one he speaks of Sam Bird often, and I take it they’re friends, and training partner’s. The other reason, is for anyone else, don’t be afraid to reach out to one of these big name lifter’s, as long as your polite and humble, they’re just people to, and it’s a big boost being able to get bits of info from guys that can lift 5x what you can. Atleast in my case he responds promtly with great info, and I’m sure other big name lifter’s are similar. 2cents

First time doing heavy deads in about a month. Got a 210kg x 2 mat pull (default PR, first time doing this), which felt about as hard as pulling from the floor. I know which part of my deadlift I need to work on lol.
Also, got did 110lb x 10 (first 8 with pretty strict form) on DB rows.

520 for 5: I got loose on the 4th rep and my partner had to give me a slight pull back to get me back in my groove and I came back and smoked the 5th one no assistance at all. This is a 25lbs PR from last week haha. Sorry if video is still upside down. It is being edited but takes 6 hours apparently to rotate 180 degrees.
Default PR on deficit deads - 157.5kg for 3 triples
At the end of the session I got bored, set a default PR on power snatch with 60kg, hit a 2.5kg PR front squat with 130kg, then got a 100kg bench with a pause and feet up. Tried for my PR bench of 110kg, and failed it, because I benched yesterday and I’m a dope.

Mabey because your the devil trying to tempt me, knowing my progress has slowed, and Im trying my hardest to avoid bringing in `` the secret `` until I get to 1500, its bad enough that my manager phones me every couple of days to tell me theres a good batch in, and Im stupid to wait. arhh, he just switched from BBing to PLing, and in under 3mth, he`s got his deadlift up to 550x3, 22yr little bastard ( Im guna dock his pay)

I just came in from squat workout, got 5x5 with 275 front squat using my high box set-up, Ill post vids when my wife gets home. mabey possbly the hardest workout Ive done in my life, fuck. Ive been using front squats to warm up for my smolov workout, switching to back squats around 225x5, but todays smolov was a light day 275x4x9, and I got the bright idea to drag out my high box, and just make it a front squat workout instead, fuck ya bright idea, andyway got it done, and videod first set. Usually what I can high box squat, Im around 4-6 weeks away from full depth free squatting. Im hoping it works the same with front squats. later
