525 for 3 just barely missing 4 at lockout. Did way to much volume before this but a PR. Also pulled Conventional which I really suck at.
EZ curl: 100lbs x 9
Skullcrusher: 100lbs x 10
Up from 6 reps each LAST WEEK. My arms have also grown 1/8" per week for the last 3 weeks. They’re now 16.25" cold, flexed (size PR!).
This whole bodybuilding split with 3 days a week direct arm training seems to be working really well. I think I’m a really good responder to high frequency. My squat and deadlift have both “mysteriously” stagnated (not really surprised, since I dropped them to once a week each for the first time).
I also strict pressed 60kg for 6 (so soul-crushingly close to a 7th rep…) which isn’t an all-time PR, but is certainly the best I’ve done in a good bit. Hoping to get a real PR next week.

Awesome, I noticed you use a switch grip, even with straps, I thought I was the only one that did that, I’ve been doing deads this way for so long, that even on warmups, I keep my left hand under grip. Good work, I wish I had an 8 inch deadlift ROM ![]()
Got 145kg for 7 or 8 squat (lost count). If it’s 7, that’s a 5kg PR, so that’s good.
Went on to get 175kg x 1 on a Joker set, but video didn’t work and I wasn’t sure about depth, so I did it again.
Then got a 127.5kg front squat for a small 2.5kg PR
Lol Anytime I have to pull switch grip even with straps. For some reason no matter how hard I try I can contract my lats and keep a nuetral spine if I pull double over. I immediately due what I did in the last rep and round over so much I can’t push my hips through. Its not as bad pulling Sumo and I am much stronger there… Also makes my 8in ROM even shorter hahah.
I’ve seen Dan Green do it as well
Finally hit my cutting goal of 220… trying to figure out where to from here. I still don’t really see any difference, even w/ pictures.
Also finally got my squat back up to 225 x 3 x 5… I think my knee is pretty much healed.
405 for 9.
500 for 1
Today was a insane confidence booster. My Previous Best Wrapped Squat record with 405 was 6 reps. Today I hit 9… without wraps… against Bands. Then even after being totally smoked I worked up to 20 pounds off my best ever Squat but with bands and it was fairly easy.
turning into a monster buddy, 500 ---- NICE !
Squat 225x8x3, volume PR, bench 235x1, 225x2, 225x1 paused
Tbar rows 3 plates and a quarter x5x2
Benched 95kg x 8 for a 3 rep PR, then matched my PR of 110kg. Added a ghetto slingshot (couple of short bands) and got 115kg, then failed a big grind against 120

Im trying lol
You guys are awesome. I haven’t ever posted over here, but finally feel worthy. Sort of.
After stalling out for a couple of weeks I benched 135 last night. I know that’s what most of you warm up with, but I’m psyched. Other PRs from this week include 220x2 squat and 255x3 conventional deadlift.

Hey, that’s a great start! Most of the young guys that go to my gym couldn’t squat 2 plates to proper depth to save their lives.
If you don’t mind me asking, how much do you weigh? Because a 135 bench for a woman is pretty good!
Today I hit a 100kg bench for 2 sets of 4. Could’ve pushed it to 5, but I didn’t want it to get too ugly. Maybe next week
Hit an incline bench rep PR after (155lbs x10), so I’m pretty pleased with how today went given that my bench has been stalled for a while.

Nice work, Apoklyps! And thanks! Been hitting it pretty hard for about 6 months now. Currently weighing in about 151, planning to compete as a 148 at the end of March. BTW, how’d you get that old picture of me for your avatar? ![]()
Deadlifted 190kg beltless (5kg PR), then belted up and got 200kg for a 10kg PR. Also default PR on deficit pulls, 140kg for 3 sets of 5
8 x 102.5kg bench.
Will aim for 10 x 100kg when it comes up next cycle.
72.5kg push press for 5
255X1 competition grip/pause bench press
55X8 DB back extension
170X3 suitcase deadlift
330X3 deficit deadlift
280X3 close stance low box squat
135X22 strap kroc rows
45X6 wide/neutral grip pull ups
190X7 ultra wide bench press
385X1 deadlift with my incredibly stiff troy barbell that is awful for anything but squatting and benching
Just some recent pr’s that I’m happy with.
