Bullshit!!!
I am Balbos and I am progressing very fast.
2 days ago I PRed 60 kg and today its 65 kg.
During winter holidays I partied too much and lost 5 days in the last 5 days, but managed to master basic snatch technique.

What are your ATG Oly front and back squat numbers like? Whats their form like?
2yrs is still being gernous imo. If you can get from 65 to 100kg in 24months that is some SERIOUS gains.
You need to re-evaluate what you are doing. The C&J will help but you need to be hammreing the technique and doing loads of lifts a week. At least 40reps at a training weight. The Power Lifts won’t help you much as that will not be your weak point. Your weak point is probably speed and position under the bar. When you have missed limit weights what were they like?
2-3yr is still a tough goal to get from 65-100Kg Snatch.
My bro is 69kg, back squats heavy for his weight, 145kg for triples x 6sets strict and very low. He can 1RM front squat 145kg @ 69Kg. He can Snatch 101Kg but technique is very sharp and he is fast under the bar and rock solid position.

Yeah, dont believe that. Concentrate in your overhead squat, its the weakest part for beginners, but its just a matter of getting used to it, you get better at it when you put more plates in the bar. I have this same 100 kg goal for the summer, but now I decided not to do snatch at all for a few months, I dont feel I get enought out of them. Instead I do lots of cleans, powercleans and overhead squats. At the point when I easily powerclean and overhead squat 100 kilos I believe I`m ready for a 100 kg snatch.
The problem is not the over head squat. The problem is the ‘receive’ position isn’t consistent and deep enough. It’s the pull under the bar. All beginners never do it properly without a lot of practice. It takes quite a great deal of time to get it done properly for the Snatch.
I’d like to see someone only train for 2yrs and Snatch 100Kg. It takes a lot of hrs to do something like that. It isn’t an easy feat. Remember once you get to bodyweight, each kg takes at least a month if not longer.

Back squat=150 kg for 2 reps not ankles to calves(tight hammies),but pretty deep
Front squat=120 kg for a triple
bw=88 kg at the moment
I am not satisfied with the speed of a barbell when squatting near maximum weight.
I am sure the technique and not strength is holding me down. Also I am much stronger outside of the gym than in my lifts. It can sound cocky and like fantasy, but for years I did heavy physical work for a living and usually I am way stronger than people with bigger lifts. It can be seen in wrestling,arm-wrestling or lifting some heavy stuff in real life.
Ha ha ha!!! Its mass production of weightlifting champions in those big lifting halls in China.Industrial look and atmosphere, large number of lifter, everybody focused and working hard.Very nice!
Looking at the Chinese training,I feel kind of a bad, because in my homeland Croatia, sports are really neglected. There are elite athletes that struggle to beat the odds, but there are no systematic investments or popularity in sports now. Most young people are only into drinking, drugging or partying. Its a pity and a waste of pontiatial, both athletic and academic.

Yeah, I was asked to change it by multiple posters. I figured people laughed enough at the ORLY girl.
You mean GIGAELEFANT GIRL?
You know, now that you took the ‘S’ off your name, I think it could be translated as Balkan Boner.
Anyways, check the oly thread. Ninearms posted a program for overhead squats.
Also, are you doing snatch balances?
Balancing snatch on your cock doesn’t count.

Ha ha ha ha ha !!! Balkan Boner!! ha ha ha !!!
Actually to be honest,I dont deserve that nick.It is reserved for my buddy who even posted on this forum 2 years ago under the name Balkanboy.
You see,Balkanboy and me are best friends from the same neigbourhood. We worked as bouncers in Spain and when the season ended in October,I went back to Croatia ,but he stayed on a very low budget all winter for the sole reason to do some ladies. He is a fanatic for the dark -skined ladies from Brazil and Latin America. He is a true Balkan Boner!

You probably just about have the leg strength to Snatch 100Kg but it isn’t the strengtht hat is limiting you. It’s the speed and technique.
A 200Kg DL is MORE then plenty to Snatch up to 135Kg.
My bro is about 7-10% stronger then your squats but his squats are really low but his recieve position is really low.
The deeper your positions the less bar height you need.
I still say a good 18-24months until you can Snatch 100Kg unless you really rework your technique intensely for the next 4months.
Being strong outside of the gym is great with all of your manual labour work. BUT remember your goal here is to Snatch 100Kg and that you can not do yet. You should be really focusing on this. Your gains in strength will definately limit you to Snatching 90kg and you will really struggle to get the last 10kg’s if you do not have a cleaner and smoother technique. A strong man/ PL comes to our club 230/300/330 in the big three in KILOGRAMS! He Snatched 95Kg @ 120Kg.
I’ve always had a really strong grip but that only helps my grip in gripping the bar. Not to actually complete the lift.
Rework the technique with your coach. Work the reps and the %.

I think Koing has a point regarding weak points in snatch.
He is a very good lifter and is always helping lifters on this and other forums.
Kliplemet what are you on about? A 200kg DL doesn’t mean jack in relation to a fairly sizeable Snatch of 100Kg!

My opinion is opinion of a 60kg snatcher.
Your opinion is opinion of a 110kg snatcher.
So I will take your advice seriously.
Thanks a lot! Keep your great posting!
A 90kg power snatch is not the same as a 90kg squat snatch. Being able to power snatch 90kg doesn’t mean you can even squat snatch an empty bar. If you want to go down the “someone I know route”, a mate of mine pulled 240kg last week, powersnatched 82.5kg after about an hour of coaching, but falls on his arse with a 50kg squat snatch. Not that it means anything, because deadlift and snatch strength have little relation to each other.
100kg locked out and held in the rock bottom position of a squat snatch feels a hell of a lot different to 100kg pulled off the floor to just below the waist.

a strongman just joined my club, and he, on his first day, snatched 70 and powersnatched 75. He has a 200kg ATG squat and a 600+ deadlift. He will be snatching 100+ in a few months with technique work. Cleaning 95 already.
But DL is NOT a clean pull so imo that shit dont matter
