I did 65 kg snatch technicaly solid. My muscled-up snatch max was 75 kg.

my clean and jerk is 130 kilo, back squat 180 kilo, pull 180x3
Nice,tasty numbers!

height 178 cm (5’10"?) weight about 84 kilo, bodyfat unknown, see here http://www.T-Nation.com/tmagnum/readTopic.do?id=1118757&pageNo=4 for pic
To snatch 100 kg is a lot for a 84 kg guy!

We’re about the same weight. I walk around 84kg now a days but your pulls are a lot stronger then mine. My best is 165kg for 3’s tops, but my back squat is the same, 180kg for one rep and 160kg for 6reps.

We’re the same height also 5’10. Your Snatch technique looks sharp so your Clean should be sharp also. But the Jerk is a bast to do properly!

Out of curiosity, what is your best front squat? My body specs are pretty similar to you guys. I recently snatched 102kg and I was originally thinking I really needed to get my squat numbers up before I could move up any more weight, but now I’m guessing its better technique instead. My best front/back squats are 158/172.

From memory I think Koing squats around 152/180.

Yesterday I hit PR. 1oo kg in clean & jerk. Power snatch=65 kg
I am thinking of doing 2 sessions of OLy lifting a day.
Power snatch of 65 kg was quite solid,so I guess I had 5 kg more in the tank, but left it for another session coz I pr-ed on c& j in the same session.
I guess its about 30 kg to go in order to hit the big 100 kg snatch!!!

Bodyweight 87 kg with I guess about 15 % body-fat.
I thought about incorporating pistols to work on my leg strength.

Yesterday I hit a PR Power snatch.

70 kg!

30 kg to go.

Bodyweight at 85 kg.

That was correct 3months ago.

Now I’m sitting at 160/187 @ 90kg and I’ve done 117/143 in training on separate days @ 90kg. Currently cutting so I’m at 88kg in the morning on non comp scales that are heavy. 3 more kg’s in 10 days and I have taken thur/ friday off next week to chillax and sauna up. Should be easy.

Thanks,man!
If you only know in how tough situation am I training…

Power clean=105 kg

C&J=100 kg with paralell feet

Not interested in C&J,only snatch, but use it as supplementary exercise in the process of building snatch.

I started incorporating heavy lunges and box squats.

Stay strong!

Yeah my post was from over a year ago and I definitely know that my technique is what limits me from hitting bigger numbers. Your lift numbers are much more efficient based on your squats.

Me and you are comparatively very similar.

Both
5’10
85kg lifters (Well I’m heavier now but I use to make 85kg easily, now I have to be more strict but I’m going to the 94’s after the British in 8 days time)

I saw a bunch of your videos and your Snatch is good. You may not attack the bar like I do as I’m aggressive under but you keep it closer to me and aren’t as ‘wild’ which is better. The 111 you DEFINATELY have in you.

The C&J are good. Cleans look good. The Jerks at 142 were good. How are you setting about sorting the lock out? I’ve never had trouble locking the bar over head, the problem for me has been ‘getting the bar that high’ in the first place on heavy lifts.

I Snatched 117 after 10 failures between 110-120. I just going at it.

I’ve Cleaned 145 twice but failed the Jerk, gotten under 150 solidly but couldn’t squat up.

After the British I’m going on a strength cycle, rushing to a 200kg back squat and sort my pulls out as I’m weak off the floor due to a prolapse disc in L4 that I suffered 3yrs ago.

What are your PB’s lifts and squats?

Whoops I totally missed your post from a couple months ago.
111 snatch, 142 C&J, 144 clean, 205 b.squat, 175 f.squat
My progress has plateaued big time since I stopped seeing my coach regularly (duh), but its been harder for me since I’m a full-time grad student and he doesn’t live nearby. I’ve been self coaching for a while and have been experimenting with some new training methods to hopefully help make some progress.

My snatch is at 70 kg at the moment.
Doing triples with 60 kg.

2 years ago it was 75kg? setbacks?

No shit! damn the jerk is soooo difficult, I got to the point where I could clean 130 kilo for two reps yet failed to jerk it still even when I did one rep in the clean. yup he jerk is definately harder than the snatch imo contrary to what a lot of people seem to think
I guess I am lucky in that I took to learning the jerk soon…got a deep split pretty fast. The snatch has been playing catch up for a while now though.
