Have never really felt the need to isolate my triceps so much. I will do it often but nothing crazy. Best tricep work IMHO is heavy floor presses and overhead presses.

12/21/14 - took squats for some volume again. honestly because I need to rebuild my technique and atm I’m still super tentative and I need to find my rhythm again. I am a much better front squatter than back.

uncomfortable they felt, but ended up getting a really sick lower body pump. short term goal is to work up to 350 for 3 sets of 8 beltless. building volume before i begin training squats heavy again. my fucking right leg is still noticeably smaller due to the injury last March. Gotta get back into consistent squatting soooo bad.

I pace myself and use a moderate weight like 120ish per hand. But nope it’s very fun and not painful at all.

Did some band resisted planks. I just set it up (band) in a rack horizontally and lie underneath it on my stomach so the band is on my low back and just plank. Easy way for me to train them weighted alone.

So, finally got 365 overhead at a bodyweight of ~235. The fact it wasn’t a grinder really shocked me. I have no idea how I managed to put this much over my head, but fucking shit, it happened.

Thanks a lot. I honestly felt the miss was not due to lack of strength, but a lack of familiarity with that high of a weight. Keep in mind, my PR on front squat is only 425.
