As ive commented in another one of my posts, i have numerous job restrictions when it comes to weightlifting. if you haven’t read my other post, you need to know that i work as a YMCA camp counselor for kids. i love the job except that there is no gym to work out at! so i found myself bringing small time weight sets to my cabin and working out there.
the only problem is, is that i have an extremely hard time working out my legs and such when all i have at the camp is a curl bar and a dumbell. besides working out twice a day on my back, shoulders, chest, bi’s and tri’s i also run about 2 miles at 6 mins each…but besides the 2 miles a day for cardio, i have basically no leg workout. any suggestions?
Have you tried unilateral movements with dumbells? Pistol squats and single-leg deadlifts (both have demo photos in CW’s 30 day mass program http://www.T-Nation.com/readArticle.do?id=1596243) might suit your limited equipment.
Like drenelin said, look into single leg work. Basically, bodyweight is quite massive once you get all of it on one leg and use a full range of motion.
I can guarantee you one thing running 2 miles 6 mins each aint doing a thing for your PL aspirations. Is there Nothing heavy around the camp you can pic up multiple times hell even kids

This is great, you should make some sort of squat machine with a basket at the top like in strongman during the 90s that they filled up with girls.
Seriously Phill is onto something here, look for big rocks, logs, etc. It dosent have to be a barbell.
